Soooooo we're just gonna pretend that Tiffany's not a 19 y/o college girl who just ran off and elope with a dude who's almost 30 practically outta nowhere. And we're supposed to believe that Tonia, who never once expressed ANY interest in basketball outside of dating a Laker, up and gets drafted to the WNBA. The writers straight up didn't give a FUCK these last few episodes.
This show was great until after s02. The story and the energy fell flat after that point. All the original cast members were leaving and they kept adding new unnecessary and annoying characters (like Natalie) just to keep the show going. Without original main characters that stick around and a main plot you really have no show. They changed this shows entire plot and characterization like 4 times. I remember being like whatever happened to Jackie and her ex or the coach and that air-headed yet attractive cowboy? This show was all over the place. I guess they thought as long as they keep LL around people would still watch because he's fine lol.
This show was produced during the phase of rappers starring in TV shows. NBC wanted to cash in on LL's popularity at the time and placed this show strategically after Fresh Prince. It was the network's intention of this being a new series for Monday after FP ended but cancelled the show instead. It was produced by the same producers of FP but not a spin-off. The producers tried this back in 1992 with Patti LaBelle with Out All Night and that show lasted only one season. When UPN picked it up, they ditched the family friendly concept and made it more adult oriented. They did the opposite of what happened to Hanging With Mr. Cooper which went from adult oriented to family friendly in the 2-5 seasons. The show did worse than Moesha hence the cancellation after two seasons on UPN. Many people didn't like the new direction but it was a black show and many of us just watched just because
Nana is as well. Ironically, Nana and Ted were brother and sister on That's My Mama during the 2nd and final season of the series. Another fun fact is when this season was taped (1998) is the year Theressa Merritt (Mama from That's My Mama died from skin cancer).
Love the show. Just hated how we lost cast members. Season 5 should have tonia , jackie , austin , Tiffany .
Raynell's voice is so adorable lol

This show hold the world record for the most lost cast members
I thought that is Moesha? Kobe, Lamont Bentley, Andell, Bernie Mac and another individual I forgot
Ingram Peters I don’t think she means that. She means people that have split the show.
@@MagneticPizzazz oh right. My bad
