Forgiveness

God's Word is clear that just as Christ forgives us when we sin against Him, we must forgive those who sin against us! That is the key to unlocking the prison door and being free once and for all from the hurt and pain you have experienced in your life. FORGIVE the person or people who have hurt you in your life!
- Colossians 3:13 - Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
- Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
- Luke 11:4 - Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And lead us not into temptation.' "
And some of Jesus' own words are even more severe:
- Matthew 6:14-15 - For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
- Mark 11:25 - And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."
These tie in with the final verse of our scripture today:
- Matthew 18:35 - "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
