    Thank you for all the comments and the ones regarding the "odd" colour way choices Honda are offering with the GB350s made me think. The only colour change is the petrol tank, so that leaves a great opportunity for owners to personalize their GB350s by getting the tank resprayed any colour they wish. What vintage colour would you opt for? I think mine would be like others have said, the bronze / orange of the 60's and 70's.

    This 350 -400cc market is really booming. This is a quality bike for the money.

      Thank you for watching. It really is and after my short demo ride out, I can really see why the 350 -400 market is alive and well in the UK & maybe growing by at least one more very soon ;-)
      Wishing you well and safe journeys.

    Great video and very informative.I ride a Meteor 350 and this is on my must test ride list. These low power singles have really grown on me as I have had a few of them now. They do everything I need and they are great fun even though they are never going to break any speed records. they remind me of the bikes I used to ride and own.

      Thank you for watching. All the RE's were / are on my list but the GB350s came to my local Honda so thought lets see if the small capacity itch could be scratched. I think it comes across that I enjoyed the experience. Very different to the Transalp but very nice indeed. The GB350s in Black is on the list of stable mates for the TA. I wish you well and safe journeys.

    Old school fuel cap is a bit annoying but it’s not stopping me buying one.
    I prefer the GB350S over the Hunter 350 I used to own. Fender extender is easy enough to fit and help keep muck off the bike.

      @DavesPhotoUK  2 дня назад

      Thank you for watching. In the video, that is the first time I attempted the fuel cap and had no issues taking it off or putting it back on which was nice. Great fun riding this bike and has really stopped me worrying about if 20bhp is enough. It is more than enough for the market it is aimed at. For me it has the same presence as the RE Hunter and we are lucky to have so much sub 400cc choice out there. Great time for motor biking 🙂 Wishing you well and safe journeys.

    Great review thanks. Would have been better if you had shown us some filtering through traffic though.

      Thank you for watching. As I said when I arrived at Uxbridge, normally laden with traffic, that it was very quiet so did not have the opportunity. That being said I can easily se it be great at filtering due to its size and nimble road handling. Wishing you well and safe journeys.

    How do people afford these to be insured in London with the bike theft at these levels?

    • @DavesPhotoUK
      @DavesPhotoUK  День назад

      Thank you for watching. How do people do many things that cost money to participate ? If it is "your thing" then you pay. Wishing you well and safe journeys.

    • @strapanasi
      @strapanasi День назад +1

      @@DavesPhotoUKit’s harder than that, people pay for things they love, but the cost/value ratio has gone off the chart. I was looking at quotes for insurance for bikes costing 2500/2600 so relatively cheap, and despite having my full motorcycle licence for almost a decade the quotes started at 3000 reaching 7000/8000 crazy highs. My criticism is not about you doing what you love, which happens to be what I also love doing, but I don’t think at the moment this passion is worth the cost for Londoners, considering the very high cost involved to get insurances, while there’s little effort from local authorities to prevent crime which is the cause of these insurance quotes. That said, this is a nice Honda

    This or the RE Classic/Bullet 350?..same HP…similar price-ish and similar aesthetics..albeit I have to say the mudguard situation is better on the RE for our cr@ppy winter/wet roads!!..it’s a toughie!…great review…just wish it came in the ubiquitous Honda red colour😎👍

    • @DavesPhotoUK

      Thank you for watching. Yes the colours are erm questionable but I was told they are very similare to the 50's 60's shade around back then. Im to young to know but he Honda Red, white or Navy should of been on the options. Maybe in 2026. Was a fun ride and now looking at the RE's with a different mind set. 20HP is NOT an issue. Great fun. I wish you well and safe journeys.

      @@DavesPhotoUKI agree about the HP…still so much fun…also I have to say you could easily commute on an older Honda CG125 with 11 BHP and a maximum speed of 60-70mph and save a few quid in purchase price and utility bills in the process!! 😂😉👌

    • @DavesPhotoUK
      @DavesPhotoUK  2 дня назад

      @ Very true but it feels a little odd going all the way through getting a modern full test and sticking to a 125 lol. The 350 - 400cc bikes on offer are really spoiling us for choice. 👍

      @@Tommy-Atkins I do commute on a CG125, 120mpg, £25 road tax & my insurance is only £80 a year fully comp! although there is no way it'll do 70mph, an indicated 65mph is the best you'll get.

  • @IndigoJo

    150mpg is what you'll get out of a CB125F. This is more like 100.

    Great little bike, but as others have mentioned,honda are so boring with their colours and don't seem to recognise that a nice colour can tempt people to buy the bike! Imagine this in the bronze colour scheme the original 500/4 was painted in,or the blue/BLK the 750k6 was painted in,and if they had also done the Colour scheme that the 250rs had, they would have tempted all the rider's that owned them in the 80's!!!!

      When you see them 'in the flesh', these colours are really quite classy. I do wish we'd get the chrome exhaust for the UK market, though.
