    Perfect timing. I literally just bought two books on python, so I can start to learn this language.

      Which books did you buy?

      ‘Cracking codes with python’ and ‘automate the boring stuff with python’
      I tried to find books that were project heavy, as well as focused on python more in scripting/security uses rather than *just* a development language.
      Since there is a lot of automation at work with power shell, I figured the latter could be good and potentially useful. And the former just sounds fun, especially with pursuing cyber.

    Thank you very much for this course! I was looking to re-learn Python and while I'm not focusing on pentesting, I enjoyed working on the mini-projects as its nice to not just learn a language but put it into practice in a meaningful way (and having a feeling of accomplishment) before going out and finding projects to work on. Cheers!

    I'm an absolute beginner in programming, and after the installing part of the video, I just had no idea what the author was saying. And I thought we were gonna use pycharm, but he doesn't. And I don't understand how to translate what he's saying into pycharm. I try to just type everything he is saying, but it doesn't work, I think? Idk, I'm so lost. I know I'm totally dumb at this. But can someone explain to me what in the world I am supposed to do. Maybe I should watch some other course for even more beginners?? Elp

Currently, studying on my own, need a lot more practice with hands on training. From Trinidad in the West Indies btw. How can I install Python on my mobile devices to study along with this course? Thanks!

    Great video, but most people will run into problems at 1:50:00 when the course takes a turn that suddenly involves linux, networks, and importing things that weren't really explained...still very helpful when it comes to some intro python

    Edit: I've been working through your Linux and ethical hacking material as well, mostly listening, to take it all in, knowing that I'll re-listen when hands on. Thank you so much... sincerely. Your story was sort of the ah ha moment for me and got this giant ball rolling.

    I wish you would have taking this lesson a little farther and explained how to add, remove or move an employee in a key/value pair with multipart values, you did show for drinks where only one key had one value but when i tried myself to add a extra value to a key in employees IT=key, new employee=value i got errors.

    At 01:09:09, I was expecting it will print 'bob', 82 because you declared both 0 and 1 indexes. Why it just printed 82, not bob?

  • @blipster17trtmn55
    @blipster17trtmn55 Год назад

    A question: on the LIST section, after changing Bob_grade to 83 by executing " grades[0][1]=83", if I try to print it, the result is 82 and not 83? But if I print the whole list then it shows the updated changes, which is 83. Why is that?

    For port scanner I was getting an error for
    print("-" * 50)
    print("Scanning Target: "+target)
    print("Time started: "+str(datetime.now()))
    print("-" * 50)
    line 17, in
    print("Scanning Target: "+target)
    NameError: name 'target' is not defined
    but i had everything correct after looking. Any ideas?

    • @paua7742
      @paua7742 Год назад

      Sorry that I'm late but the issue here would be that the "target" argument needs to be specified when running the command. If you were using an IDE you probably just hit run, therefore target doesn't get a value assigned to it.
