Strange. On the wiki, there's a mention of the United Creeds edict, which gives a flat +10% on cyborg jobs. Is this a mistake?
Huh, yeah the tooltip is wrong! It DOES give you an edict with +10% resources, +10% happiness and +5 stability!
That's very annoying
@@MontuPlays that buffs the unified route majorly
@@MontuPlays Also, according to the wiki page on Population Modification, all creeds give an extra trait point and pick, it's just that Creedless gives a single additional trait point.

So much montu content the past week. You can tell when montu loves a dlc and when he kinda doesn’t LMAO. Also looking forward to the paragons tier list (now that hes confirmed it)
Worth noting that as of now pops will lose not only Ritualistic Implants if they ever leave the spiritualist faction, but all their cybernetic mods, making the species tab an honest to god hell.
in addition you can't modify them unless you have the united faiths.

so, does this make Exalted Priesthood a better civic choice? and nice subliminal message at 11:28 "Your kind cling to your flesh"
yes.. only the one... feeling like the flesh is weak at all?
is it bad normally?
That Mechanicus intro really is memorable, lol.
I played a mega church with this and it was stupid fun. I’m halfway through the mid game and just pummeled the only alliance that was not my fan, so well over half the galaxy does business with me and I’m filthy rich.
Great video! Thanks for your hard work.
Glad you enjoyed it!
If you have Distinguished Admirality, you can indeed take the Tithe of the Navy on uniting the creeds.
Well damn. Wish I wasn't watching on my phone, so I could see what the devil keeps popping up in those sneaky frames!

Man, that Mechanicus intro is so legendary.
I noticed Corporate actually *removes* the debuff to empire size from planets Corporate usually gets. Not THAT good because usually you don't have that many planets unless you spam habs but still.
Montu clearly doesn’t need sleep, food, water…has he ascended?

Finally, an Origin that gives me guaranteed the Zroni Precurser.
9:32 I aspired to the Purity of the blessed Machine
Jokes on you, i always get zroni when i am playing hive.
since when does it guarantee zroni? all i get are baol and irassian...
Yay, many thanks!
A build idea I am working on with these is going dimensional worship since that will allow u to get both physics and engineering research from priests which when combined gives a gd amount of tech and unity allowing u to make a tech ECU using priests. It's definitely not the strongest but it's a interesting idea to play with I feel given how at level 10 leader level a priest will only have slightly less tech output then a scientist but unlike tech priest output has many buffs available
This looks really fun
I'm having trouble with this origin : a problem has arised where when all of the pops on a planet have the ritualistic implants trait, pop growth stops, I believe this is due to the fact that pops with this trait can't technically grow because it's a trait that's given to the pop once it has joined the spiritualist faction. Only way to counter this that I have found is to reduce spiritualist attraction (which is counterproductive, especially since I'm playing a megachurch) and to resettle pops that don't have the trait from one planet to another (which is a pain in the a** to do).
Did anyone have the same problem and did you find any better solution to it?
i saw that at 4:02, 6:32 and 9:32 and 11:31 and 12:22 and 14:54 and 17:59 and 18:54 and 19:52 and 20:09 (wow you really put in the entire thing), praise the mommyssiah

FINALLY
montu are you held hostage or synthetically ascended? How are you putting out videos this fast?
The intro reminded me of how cool the Mechanicus game was.
With this much creativity and interest in machines I really hope the start developing something for organic Hivemind. I won't hate on the Machine DLC its pretty expansive and fun and It made me get back into Stellaris for more than a quick run. Hivemind has been my favorite since I started playing and it feel like it hasn't gotten content dedicated to it for a while.
If you are a masterful crafter there’s another option added if you merge them
As a megacorp you also get a the option for the tithe of wealth for cybernetic fusion; you know, to better provide the sacred profit that comes from the most synergistic new sacred implants.
Ive recently done a cyborg lithoid. And i maxed out The Cybernetic Tree on my second pick. Very nice and early.
The Engineering research these guys can output is bonkers
montu pls make a video guide playing this origin
i wonder if i can combine this origin with necroids to roleplay as phyrexia.
Man everyone reference the mechanicus but ironically the mechanicus ascension path would be synthetic ascension as that is the organization end goal.
They'd like to, but that would be technoheresy because Men of Iron rebellion - so having an AI based on non-organic computation device is a big no-no.
That was my original thought, but then I remembered the procedure to replace "just" half of their brains with a computer is considered extreme by most of them, so they'd probably generally prefer something more like cyberpunk's "full 'borgs", Adam Smasher bring an example
@@justinthompson6364 really? Weird I thought there whole end goal was to become machine but it was basically impossible without going insane. Though far enough machanicus and imperium are known to be Hippocrates on basically everything.
Plz Montu : do you know a free cam mods to observe battle and planet better ? Would deeply appreciate ❤
For anyone wondering what that weird frame was, it says: for the Machine is immortal
Ehh, how do you get those extra modding traits for free? I've completed it all (Hammer) and i can only add 1 trait point to the augmented ones
I think, united creeds is best choice and you play this origin with megacorp. United creeds give you good edict and you can modify spefies as you want. While others lock you in predefined traits. Maybe science choice can rival that but im kinda doubt full.
Creed Megacorp gov type on other hand, removes 50% penalty for sprawl from planets, giving megacorp effefts. I have feeling that since they nerfed pop growth for cybernetics, its more important to get more planets early for that pop growth speed.
Guardian civic also seems not as strong with this one, because its harder to grow pops
I want a Cybrex Cybernetic Creed play through so bad now.
Do assimilated pops get the powerful Faction augments if you go that way and then assimilate someone? Because if they don't you're kinda forced into uniting them as a xenophile
What does faction resource output mean? +10% to all resources produced by faction members? or just an unity bonus?
So which of the 4 factions is generally the best pick if you decide not to unite them?
I mentioned this many time on many videos realted to cybernetic creeed, its my favorite Origin and mechanics i enjoyed its run, but it felt wonky and really bug on the Pop growth stuffs and having them buggy revertion when a new pop comes out
I've been having a weird problem when trying this origin with my modpack, I start the game, wait a few days to load everything correctly, and then check my ascension perks to see that "the flesh is weak" is completely absent from the menu.
Does anyone know if it's a specific mod causing this issue?
What's the name of the song that starts playing at 12:28? Anyone knows?
had a very weird game with this origin, foolishly took deviant on my pops and when the factions merged a materialist faction popped in with over 2/3s of my total population. I had a unity planet that couldn't work because only spiritualists can work temples. the debuffs to happiness and stability wrecked my economy, a gaia world revolted... it was fun
Jeez montu is putting frames of text and I have to go frame by frame to read it like it's some analog horror
"your kind cling to your flesh" XD
@20:09 hmmm thought I saw something there, eh it's probably nothing
*sweating intensifies*
My question is, can you still build your cybernetic pops with this origin?
I aspired to the prescision of the Bloody Machine
First thing I noticed with the origin as that it's starting economy blows. Really need to rush some districts asap for the 2 useless soldier jobs along side your first 2 pops(from growth and blocker).
"and you will beg my kind to save you."
Don't monthly x boosts just apply an additive multiplier to everything?
My build so far has been fanatic spiritualist/authoritarian. Oligarchic government. Exalted priesthood and master crafters. You can rush unity and engineering research so easily with this build.
I really wish they would go back and redo some of the earlier origins. Give them more flavor at least.
They finally gave us full metal dlc, its time for Bio-tech dlc. I want to be a continuation of the Baol
9:32 I aspired to the purity of the blessed machine
what do the flashes of text say :( i cant read them
How do you make an individualistic machine empire. It keeps saying i have to use the machine intelligence empire type, with google just tells me i can istead of how to.
Pick a machine species portrait. Then go to ethics & civcs and don't choose gestalt, instead pick regular ethics. Hey presto you're an individualist machine!
Ok, so it's most likely a mod problem them
I did the virtual rush in a multiplayer game and i was lucky enough to only have ai around me so i could live until i became virtual.
Its absolutely OP like holy shit
4:03 It took me like 6-8 tries to pause at the right time...
one day the crude biomass you call the temple will wither
good video. thanks. the subliminal messages were a bit freaky though.
I asmired to the purity of the blessed machine
I tried Cybernetic Creed today and kept having problems where my pops wouldn't work the Haruspex jobs. I'd 4 unemployed pops and 4 Haruspex jobs open on my homeworld and even giving Haruspex jobs priority, they would not go into the jobs. Have you seen this behavior at all? I was playing Cybernetic Creed with Eager Explorers and Masterful Crafters, If I recall correctly.
only the spiritualist pop can
Please paradox, please! make a hivemind expansion.
I, too, aspire to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Would that I could remove my weak, squishy organic optics for the mighty clarity of an augmentic eye, so I could read your borderline-subliminal single-frame sermons. As it stands, it took a lot of precision backtracking and playback speed slowdown. (Also your voice sounds funny at 0.25x speed lol)

Am i the only one that has problems with repeated forming of new subspecies when taking a new species into my empire?
For the machine is immortal
Science seems broken with the latest patch - Consistently on Year 50 and its still taking 10 years to finish even basic tech. Is there something they changed that I'm completely missing.
I can't explain it but I feel like I would like myself more if I was covered in blessed chrome. How strange

Cybernetic Creed Megacorp is kinda busted. Since the government bonuses are all the same, Megacorp loses its +50% colony penalty.
Also all dogmas have the option for +10% trade value as a Megacorp.

I ASPIRED TO THE PURITY OF THE BLESSED MACHINE
Montu right not: "Another one."
I think its worth to mention that they removed special trait templates for specific faction, what is a big shame. I think that was unique and overall nerf for the origin. There was some funny things what you was able to do with non spiritualist modification and then when they become part of faction with extra traits making super cyborgs. Now it seems... more empty.
I think assimilation broke my economy. Since pops who are being assimilated don’t produce output, I kept having all of my resources just massively fluctuate over and over.
Did anyone manage to assemble all of the subliminal messages that our Lord Montu put in this video?
