I lived in NYC for 16 years and heard Will Lee many times on gigs around town. One of the best musicians I have ever encountered on any instrument. As a rhythm section player his abilities aren't always out in front and noticeable but he's incredibly talented.
16:30 Eno fans geeking out when he says “aleatoric”! 🙂👊🏽 20:10 re: the road-tested case for his pedalboard-“it fell down a flight of stairs once. And it messed up the stairs.” 🤣
Nerd question : who makes this cool sparkly strap on Will Lee's bass ??!! I absolutely need one like this ..... Please chime in when you know something !
He apologized for not having too many pedals like all these new guys that are always apologizing. Why? He has 15 pedals and 1500 effects on that pedalboard.
The Other Band of Brothers is on tour ? I can't find anything online about the tour. I wish they'd hit some West coast venues. Awesome albums, would love to hear them live.
@@justinguitarcia Not all of the pedals, but I get your point. All Tex-Mex Strats are made in Mexico which is why they are cheap and get a bad rap, but the quality is very high. I still own and play a 96' black and white with maple neck American Standard Strat and it still sounds and plays great.
If you work hard and play hard theres room for everybody, Felder is doing just fine and hes a great dude, lets just appreciate players for what they do
@@vintagepipesnightmares Where did he say "anything everybody that plays" in his comment? Must have missed it. Pretty wild how many weirdos pop out in the comment section on stuff like this.

Any Chance of Limp Bizikt? They have now finally a Us Tour, that would be awesome to know what is what on Borlands Pedalboard
It's amazing how Nir's personality is so similar to his sound. Those things are connected. Amazing video guys!
Thank you for showing us a bass rig! Would love to see this more often.
AND!!! it wasn’t a P thru an SVT!!!
@@ooinvsaoo Ha! Word!
@@ooinvsaoo always love when it's something different
I love that Nir plays a ‘95 MIM Fender Strat (stock). He really makes that guitar sing!
Stoked to see Nir get some love!
Will Lee is fantastic. I wanted to be the bass player in the SNL band because of him, back in high school.
Will Lee was born in 52. Still feels like a young dude, and is still an absolute beast on the bass

19:29 "belts and suspenders on your board." Lol the gag on the redundancy is perfect.
Of course each pedal has it's own tone but the banter is gold.

Good one John! Fantastic rundown!
Bummed I missed this show, but great rundown. Also, learned a new word today: aleatoric.
That is funny, but true : "I never break strings" ... be careful because he's right, you'll be breakin' one tonight

Very cool going into Felders settings

UNCLE WILL LEE!!! NO MORE NEED BE SAID EVER!!!
Great show and sounds.
Incredible soulul playing! Thank You!
How cool. Will Lee is a native of Huntsville Texas! Son of music professor at Sam Houston State there. Go Kats!
Seen Jeff Coffin several times with Bela. What a great band. Check out "Chuckles". A real motivator
We love Will
What a nice guy …awesome player … love to know new talented player
I love this guy.
Two geat guys! Nice rundown🙂
Some really cool tone tips in here.
Nir Felder proving that most of your sound is in your hands, you don't need to spend thousands on a guitar to get a good sound.
This is very true but its also kind of funny that each one of this pedals costs about as much or more than he paid for the guitar lol. Killer player

But sometimes you have to spend good money for a guitar, when you find a guitar witch is YOUR guitar. A lifetime instrument.
@@shamrock3639 Most guitars under $800 will last you a lifetime. The idea that they're cheaply made is just ridiculous. Completely untrue.
The Ottobit and the MOD were designed by Krell Musicians.
Awesome!
Sounds like Will is using flats but I wished you had asked what kind.
Will Lee is god 👌🏻
I'm near White Plains 🎉
first time i watch a guy with a lot drive and low volume ... weird but nice
Is he don felders son?
Watch Dualist pedals sell like hotcakes
Damn treble on 10 bass on 4.
RiP Sam Ash
I'm sure Felder is brilliant.
But I have only 2 words to say:
Matteo Mancuso.
it's not a competition
Dude Mateo is in a totally different class that this guy here😂🤝
