I love the timeless esthetic of this style of shoe with the added modern rubber sole and fasteners. Like your family, many generations of our family have dressed both boys and girls in natural fiber clothing with smocking, tatting and embroidery. It is wonderful that classic styling still works with modern function. Although my son moved onto a young man’s loafer style shoes and athletic shoes, my 11 year old daughter still prefers a Mary Jane with rubber sole for everyday wear over sneakers. She likes that they complement her dresses/skirts (preferred attire) and still function in her daily PE class. Thanks for sharing these brands with viewers who may not know where they can find these styles locally. Please keep this series going...hair accessories, socks, tights, dress coats, etc.

My daughter wore these shoes. They make their outfits ! So pleased to know where I can tell new "Mama's" to find them !! I can see the Smocked Easter Dress now with the white Leather shoes....
