I have just begun to get a jewelry grab bag occasionally and I can’t believe the difference from getting the dirty jewelry until post bath. I know opening the bag and going treasure hunting is fun to see but nothing beats seeing clean sparkling jewelry. Even the low end jewelry looks exponentially better!
Im sure the pieces look amazing 😊 After all, jewelry is all about sparkle and shine, and the jewelry can’t sparkle and shine if it’s filthy. Although all vintage jewelry needs some cleaning, for the most part, the boxes i get have pretty nice jewelry and are rarely dirty beyond a quick dust or wipe off. The Blueboxes are often very dirty and the cheaper boxes from ShopGoodWill can be dirty too. Is what you are getting from ShopGoodWill boxes always in need of serious cleaning? Also, let us know if you are finding good things. Thanks
Lol. Thank you 😊 I will be starting a separate channel for knitting/crocheting hopefully by this winter. I think it will be great fun. What do you think?
I love and appreciate your long videos .I know they are long because you are doing a good detailed job, you are true to your work jewelry and patreons.Keep up the good job! İs my comment for the question at 5:42
Thank you so so much. This is a lovely encouragement, especially since my last video was almost 2 hours! 🤭 In my short time as a RUclipsr I’ve learned a lot through the criticisms and the blessings. And what I’ve learned the most is that we RUclipsr’s must be ourselves and do what each of us feels is right for our channel, our morals, and the wonderful people who watch, subscribe, and purchase from us. So, thank you very much for this. 👍🏼❤️ I’m so glad you are here. ☺️
Your camera is fine! Don't worry about it. 👍. Love that beautiful laboradite necklace and the opaline necklace! On the black and clear bead, I think it could be called "flashed". There's also flashed with a thin colored coating, but this bead is with glass.
Thank you very much! 😁 And thanks for your encouragement about the camera. it might look fine but constantly having to tap my screen to focus it has takes a toll on me for sure. But guess what? Today I bought a newer phone!! Yay! Soon I’ll be able to enjoy the videos and not work so hard at the focus 👍🏼
The Black Glass Beads are sometimes referred to as French Jet which is essentially Black Glass. So To be on the fancy side you can say French Jet or to be Technical you can say Black Glass Beads. French Jet is a black glass, originally meant to simulate black ignite (fossilized coal), often called a real jet. French jet refers to a type of black glass jewelry popularized during the Victorian Era.
Thanks very much! I am aware of what real Jet fossilized wood is. Very cool. But what about that bead in the middle of that bracelet with the 1/2 clear and 1/2 black? Any ideas about that? I so appreciate your info. Would love it if you joined my Facebook group! facebook.com/groups/524042213277629/?ref=share_group_link

Hi Cheri…..another fun Sat night! Your necklace certainly is reminiscent of labradorite with all of the bluish striations showing. When the stone is sliced you see them better than in an entire stone of it….thats when it looks more green and not nearly as pretty. Lovely piece. X
I hope you do see it Frieda! If you read the comments, its the one of the first comments at the top. I put the link in the top of the comments. I’ll send the link to your email too. Okay honey girl?
I just opened my first goodie pkg .from you Cheri and every item is beautiful, thank you and I’m looking forward to my second order arriving soon! LOVE all your baubles‼️❤️
Thank you so much! Please email me at CapeCodEbayGirl@gmail.com The instructions for purchasing jewelry are also in the video’s Description section which you can find just under the video’s title. Sometimes you need to expand the Description words by clicking on the word, “more” and it will show you more things that I have written about this video. I hope to see your email. thank you
See? That’s why I need to start a channel for socks too! I need a name that goes with Blessed… Do you have the circular needles? I’d love to share a great starter video with you for socks. I’ll find the title and share it. I remember it had KAL in the title name and the socks she knits in the video are pink. GREAT VIDEOS! I learned that method and use it all the time. I hope that helps. You can see, I have too many things I’m so excited to talk about! 😂
You can do it France! When I start my knitting crocheting channel, you can watch along and learn with me. I need a name that goes after Blessed, but has to do with knitting crocheting and wool. Can you think of a name?
Have you tried using a q-tip when testing silver? I find I can't see the color on the stone, but if I rub up the testing liquid once applied to the metal on the stone I can judge the color easily on the white q-tip. I like that you show the pieces close and far. Thanks!
Thank you Sarah. I so much appreciate knowing if the viewing is too close or not. I have tried the q-tip with the silver solution but I still think the 18K is much easier. But I’ll keep that in mind and maybe I’ll give it another try.
It really is! You should see it in person when the light hits it! I can’t believe I didn’t realize it was real stone the very last minute! Oh well. I’m happy for the person who bought it. 😊
Hi, Cheri. Labradorite is calcium rich, rutilated, plagioclase feldspar. Easy pronunciation of Labradorite. Just say Labrador (like the place or the dog) and add "ite". Hope this helps you, hon.
Those 'labradorite' stones look more blue and uniform than is usual for that stone. There are often more striations and color variations in the ones I've seen. Maybe a dyed agate or something else? I could be wrong though.
Hmmm. Maybe I should recheck them to see if they are glass? They really seemed to be acrylic . . I can't remember if I tested them with Miss Prissy. I'd have to watch the video again, or recheck them again. Thank you!!!
Oooh, ok Cindy, I’ll approve you for sure. There’s not much going on over there. I think I bit off more than I can chew opening that group. But lets still give it a try and see what happens. 😊
No! I appreciate the closeups! (( when not blurry 😅) I’m almost 70! Thank you. So videos I subscribe to are too far away.😕But I do think you can get through more pieces in you shorten the time on each piece. 😊
France, if I wasn’t tapping on my phone screen so many times, I might be able to use all that time to show the jewelry. Haha But guess what? I got a newer phone! i can’t wait until it gets here so I can see how it does in the making of the videos. Woo hoo! Thanks or staying patient, France. You arent scolding me about the blurry focus anymore. Lol. You are so sweet 😊
I'd like to find some real amber. Maybe I have but just didn't know it yet. Thanks for adding to our shared info. I appreciate it very much! Have you joined our Facebook group? Its getting a slow start but we'll see what happens. facebook.com/groups/524042213277629/

Hello Vivian. Thanks so much for watching and for taking the time to leave a comment. In most of the videos I probably say, "I'll clean up the jewelry", meaning that I'll clean it up before I ship it to the buyer. Most of the jewelry I'm showing is being unboxed right then and there. So its not clean, per say. But I get your point about making a cleaning jewelry video. I don't feel very qualified but I'll share what I know. Thanks again, very much!

I agree a little Bath with dawn and alcohol does wonders. For this jewelry it brings it back to life
Alot of beauties again, cannot wait for the next time!!! ❤

Labradorite.( almost like the dog😃) Labrador.
Has 4 syllables like “meteorite” 😀
I’m trying…. I do hear people pronounce it all kinds of ways. 😵💫 lol
I Love the close up!
Ok… thanks so much!
The glass bead (black and clear glass) at 49:20 is probably fused glass, two colors of glass melted together.
Thank you SO much!
I have wanted to know what it is called for some time.
Yes.. fused glass. 👍🏼😁
Wow so beautiful jewelry collection zabardast

Haha! They were so cute when we were recording that.
My grandson said that once you all see the video, he will be famous. Toooo cute!

Labradorite is correct. It's named for Labrador where it was discovered. So Labrador is Labrador -ite's name sake
I practiced before the video. Lol
Hi Rose luv you.

The opalescent necklace at 34:? is absolutely stunning! A little over -the-top for myself but OMG!😮😊

I can’t believe I didn’t realize it was real stone the very last minute!
Oh well. I’m happy for the person who bought it. 😊
I think that you are doing just fine with the way you show them!

Is that a new silver bracelet on your left wrist ? It’s been fun watching the evolution of your 925 beauties from several months ago till now.
Haha!! I forgot to tell you all about that bracelet!
You crack me up, girl! 😂

I think you video very well. I know what you mean about some others. Keep up your great content.

Its a tough call, isn’t it?
Others have said that when the stone is sliced thinner like this one is, its even lovelier.
The pink crystal necklace and earrings are beautiful 6:32
I love knowing your favorites! thanks
Murano was famous for their pieces of blown glass candy. Like your earrings
Hmmm. Maybe I should recheck them to see if they are glass? They really seemed to be acrylic . . I can't remember if I tested them with Miss Prissy. I'd have to watch the video again, or recheck them again.
Thank you!!!
Sheri love to listen to you and have learned so much thank you by the way my name is Betty
Hi Betty,
I’m so glad you like the videos and took the time to say hi.
So glad you are here, Betty 😊

I agree. I’ll keep practicing.
France, if I wasn’t tapping on my phone screen so many times, I might be able to use all that time to show the jewelry. Haha

The second necklace (pink) and earrings are great and a great marriage
Thanks!
Do you think they don’t actually match?
It was a tough call, but two of those beads are exact.
The brown glass is Amber colour
I'd like to find some real amber. Maybe I have but just didn't know it yet.
Thanks for adding to our shared info. I appreciate it very much!

Good match on the pink necklace
Thanks very much for the help on that. 👍🏼
Nice pieces ❤
Thank you! 🤗
I like your. Videos as they are!
Okey dokee
Thanks!
I think they match!
Thank you! That’s a big help.
The Opaline could be blue moonstone?
Oh my… I just don’t know how to tell for sure.
I can’t believe i thought it was acrylic all that time. 😏
I should have asked Miss Prissy first! Lol
That is definitely labadorite. I am surprised you do prices. Ask Google it is a crystalin
Thank you for your awesome info.
What do you mean by, you "are surprised I do prices"?
I will Google Crystalin. Thanks again!!
I was saying it sounds like glass I think you heard me ❤
😂😂😂
@@BlessedBaubles 😉😊
lABRADOR- ITE!
I practiced before the video.
But some people really do say it the shorter way. 🤷🏼♀️
It is labradorite
👍🏼
Did you look under opalite
Sure did.
But I was thinking it was an acrylic beaded necklace.
I should have asked Miss Prissy, first!
Living and learning. 👍🏼
