Real Time Southern Wisconsin Severe Weather EAS Event From 2/8/2024

Here is a real time archive of almost every EAS aler that occured in the IL/WI border area on 2/8/24, the infamous day that Wisconsin saw its first ever confirmed tornado in the month of Febuary. I used my own streams of KXI41 and KZZ57 to document it all as well as using a direct recording of KEC60 from a radio I had set up half way through the event. Live timing wise, the video starts at 4:26 PM CST on 2/8/24. I hope you all enjoy!

Winter systems are very dynamic as you have a severe weather side and a winter weather side. Mother Nature unleashes both at the same time. These types of systems could last for several day, as opposed to a normal severe weather event in the late spring and summer months.

Pretty rare event for the Midwest I will say, especially for Iowa and Wisconsin, but still doesn't beat the December 15th 2021 derecho.
