a comment for the beginners out there... the opening should NOT be on a corner. you want the corner completely sewn and then you turn. if you leave an opening on the corner its nearly impossible to make it look good when you sew it closed. i know some folks can do it, but its not a great idea
Did anyone watching know how many small bowl cozies can be cut from one package of batting needed for the microwave? Maybe Accuquilt can answer me? I’m going to try to make my quilt guild member each one on the small ones for our Christmas Meeting/Potluck this year - I have my order in my cart but thought maybe I need to add a couple more packages. Thanks so much for whomever can answer.
Hi Sandy! The Pellon Wrap N Zap 100% Natural Batting measures 45" x 1 yard, while the cut size of the Small Bowl Cozy is 9"W x 9"H . We hope this helps :)
Sandy, I don't know if this might help, but so far I have made 4 small bowl cozies, and that's cutting mine 10x10 giving that extra seam allowance. You can get 8 - 10.
What size needle do I use to see the set all together?
Seems easy. Just got my small bowl cozy hope to work on soon.
