      Yes sir, I’ve had my 52 for 4 years and 36 for three. They both still crank and drive great. They do everything the bigger brands do but cost a lot less. You will enjoy it. What size deck are you getting

    I'm looking for a stand on for my personal cutting of about an acre with slope. It sounds like nearly all of the issues would not be a problem for someone who cuts Bermuda once a week for five months a year. All I really care about is cut quality, handling, comfort, cost, and support. Sounds like all those are there. I'd pay a little extra for solid rubber front tires if available. Thanks for the awesome, honest review!

  • @ScottStOnge

    It seems like a design flaw when they do not include a pull start option.
    When the starter goes, you're dead in the water unless you have a spare mower or starter

    I appreciate your help with the Bradley's. I just picked up my new 52 last Wednesday. I haven't heard you mention what kind of blades yourun. I live in the Hickory NC area so our weather and grass is pretty similar. I've only cut once with it and I did notice a little clumping with the factory blades. Thanks.

    we just got a new bradley we are non commerical, anyway my complaint is how touchy the controls are I barly move the levers forward i mean barely, and it surges. so I need to know how to adjust it to make it less touchy. I have to get used to standing and adjust my muscles in my legs and learn how to use my hands not my body to move it or turn it, bad habit for sure.

    • @thekingscourtyardlawncares9324
      @thekingscourtyardlawncares9324  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, it takes a while to get use to it for sure coming from any sit down mower. Ive been using the standers for about 4 years now and wont go back to any other mower as a main mower. As far as the controls reach out to Bradley to see if there is something that can be adjusted to make it not as touchy. Congrats on the mower, I know you will like it.

      You can get spindle bearings and replace just the bearings you need 6 about $26 each. Takes maybe 20 minutes for each spindle. If you need the number for the bearings i can give that to you. You could at least rebuild one that you took off for a spare.

      I’m not selling it, from my view it’s the best mower for the prices of the “better” mowers out there. Nothing wrong with it that I can’t live with. If nothing else it makes a good back up mower.

    Nice! I guess I'll have to keep an eye on my spindles. It's hard to argue against a Bradley though, even with having to put down $600 on new spindles after 3 years. Still a sweet deal, compared to something like a Grandstand with it's $9k price tag.

    Great honest review! Seems like you had to replace a few things on the mower. Might be worth buying a new one every 2 yrs , retain a warranty and also be able to write off more for taxes. I interviewed the Bradley rep at the 2019 GIE. He told me that the 28hp efi engine will be available on their 61" models for spring 2020 but, their website doesn't list them. I showed the 61" efi on my GIE video so, I don't know if they decided not to produce them or not🤷‍♂️

    You can't just drill a hole in the dash to move the pto switch, it's a rectangular hole, you'll be hand filing quite a while to get the shape you want. But I agree with you it should have at a minimum been in the center. That big air filter costs one horsepower. Just sayin'. I have the ct version. I installed a volt meter that powers up with the key on. Lets me know if the battery is dead or the alternator is working. I bought a couple of packs of tennis racket tape from academy for the steering sticks $2 each side. Iss should have the flat free tires, i have some on the 36". Good review.

    Nice review! Do you have any pictures of your original (diy) shut blocker setup? I believe you had a rod with maybe a swivel socket welded to the chute.
    The deck repair should be pretty simple. Those spindles are pricey (I know some other owners have had early failure. My dealer (Russo) has after market spindles that I’ve installed on my old Wright stander and a lazer z we have at our farm. They were $25-$35 a piece, we still have the lazer z and have had no issues with them. My stander x (gen 2) deck can be adjusted (default setting) with the pin like yours but can also be raised with just the lever while your cutting to temporarily raise it over uneven ground. It will lock in place with a spring loaded pin operated with your thumb on top of the handle. Love love that feature.
    Your spot on about the stander b vs your bradley. I talked my buddy into the bradley over the “b”. He has a few properties he owns that he takes care of. It would be nice if they improved the method to add fuel to the tank (at least it’s transparent now). Does the Bob Cat have the same tank set up? I believe they are pretty much the same frame/build as the Bradley’s.
    Hopefully all the aftermarket (chute blockers, grass gobblers, tweets, etc.) manufacturers add Bradley to there list of mowers that there products work with. Lots of times Bradley isn’t listed as compatible.
