You must have inspired me......I mounted most of my cattleyas to the areca palms in my west side yard after watching one of your videos. Yours look so good on the trees. Mine aren't growing that well in my lanai so I figured I might as well try them on the trees. Not going to buy more cattleyas as they don't grow well for me. That's okay as there are so many other beautiful orchids that do well for me. Nice haul. Like the nobiles that you purchased. You might want to take some time and research the Kingianums to see what type of growing conditions they prefer.
With the Dendrobium kingianums best if you make a pile of rocks and add some bark in the cracks amd plant the orchid in amongst the rocks. Here in Sydney Australia mine flowers in winter, so they do like the cold, not full sun but good light.

I love the kingianum species they can grow like weeds. Do not water them while in spike and in bloom. The do like to be misted during their "dry" rest counter. Think of their new growths kinda like tolumnia taking in a morning dew and airflow this is when they take water.. Without it new growths remain tight or even just nubs! Then they'll keiki. They like to be watered & fertalized regularly during active growth. When growths mature they can just be misted. Very hard plant. They can grow under any temperature even in a living room! They are ALL collectable some folks not only collect them for the different blooms but cane size and shape. There is also delicatum and speciosum which behave similar but are bigger.

Dendrobium is OK for cold weather 45-50 degrees cold .
If too cold - you can keep indoors for winter.

I live in the UK. My Orchids live in my bathroom window. Must be great to give them a more natural environment

I was there and I bought some good affordable orchids. The lady told me they do it once a month.
