Most of my goals are from outside. Key is, don't sprint, have faith in the time on the ball.. Don't over use your analogue stick and power shot or finesse. Then mix it up with a short pass to goal. Inconsistent game play is consistent wins

Whenever I do I powershot, I get a slowdown animation

Easy fix in fc 24, use players with the play style to do it eg Rashford, Ronaldo and Rodri. Players with power shot play style will perform faster than those who don't have it and players with power shot + play style will perform it fastest and with more precision

You can turn it off in the settings, it’s a zoom feature by the game, and yes the power shot takes Half a second to shoot
