L'International des Feux Loto-Québec 2012 - Aoki Fireworks
Complete Show will be online after the competitions-finale (3th. August).
This kind of fireworks make me love fireworks even more then I already do.
einer der imposantesten finale die ich jeh gesehen hab! grossartig!!!
From a junior pyro, I wish to say thank you for such a beautiful display. But I truely don't think that's enough. .
Das ist doch einfach nur klasse.
Wie gern ich dort mal wäre *_*
Watching this again 12 years later, and I can't help thinking a few thoughts. This was Japan's first "big step" into the world of international competitons, and in a way, has ruined traditional Hanabi. Before this era, Japanese fireworks shows were always shot 1 shell at a time, giving the audience time to apreciate the art and creativity that goes into each shell. Unfortunately, in a competition like this, that just doesn't fly, but what should be, and wasn't judged, is the fact that they were able to create many of the same type of shell with excellent consistency. That in itserf is worth a gold jupiter!!!! Now, most Japanese shows have gone to a similar format such as this, with multiple shells and effects going off all the time, with much less emphasis put on the individual shell and the amazing effects they created. Another thought that still just 'bugs" me to this day. The commet/mine runs in the first minute or 2 of the video, happen to be the most copied effect since!!!! It seems, that almost every show designer, instead of trying to discover new effects/shots, is just watching and copying others shows. Being a former show designer myself, it still to this day really upsets me to see others just steal and copy someone elses creativity. (yes it happened to me in 2004, when a big name company assisted us in doing a show I designed, and then the following year I watched that same company win a magor competition with most of the show I designed !!!)
I got your points and I agree with it in most parts. Where I dont agree is, that this show ruined traditional Hanabi. Thats definitely not true. If you visit a hanabi festival, there are still parts where they shot their big shells one by one. Big festivals are always splitted in parts. Wide pyromusicals, smaller display, big shells one by one, big closing show etc. And there are the national competition festivals. There you see a lot of one by one firing because they will judge every single shell separately.
@@1PYRO8 So glad to hear that !!!! It seems all you see for video's nowdays are the pyromusicals. One day I hope to get over there, and partake in at least 1, if not several of their festivals. Most of their shells are absolutely spectacular !!!!
Amazing show guys! Wish i were there!
Fantastique! Merci!
Truly beautiful show.
Extrem awsome !!!!! *-*
Great FIREWORKS! O_O
Thank you so much!!!!! ;-)
What do you expect. Every Japanese shell is a work of art. Thats what made them quite unique to other style of fireworks around the world. Perfect spherical shells, bright color stars that changes color from 5 to 7 color changes, kamuro, fast blinking strobes. the 12 inch shells. Hopefully they can improve their choreography though specially in ground effects. Add some RC's or something just to have a bit of support on the aerial shells. But overall. Great show Beniya Aoki Enka.
beautiful beautiful beautiful and beautiful :)
Excellent positioning of mines!

No, it was a parasitic effect from the big shell on the left side.
Yes, it was "Beniya Aoki Enka".
The song list please!!
nice
Wauw, such awesome sync with the music. And such great music to? (What is the song called).
And damn some nice fireworks that I want to see, lighten myself and/or photograph/film myself to.
yeah, I couldn't tell.... it was kind of off screen and was similar to the shots right after it
Everyone around the world do not make a bomb, if you are making just fireworks, the war would not have happened probably.
It is a wise saying of Japanese artists that was called "general naked" while continuing to the Odyssey.
(I'm sorry in Google Translate)
You know what focal distance is?
Were they in the competition? How did they not win?

Just curious as to what EV range and shutter speed you are using to preserve the colour depth. Any hints or advice would be greatly appreciated. - An appreciative fireworks video fan.
die schönste "art" geld zu verjubeln, und alle sind happy.
