There is just something special with Kintaro. His sweet face and expressions, make you fall in love with this little gorilla. In most ways, I find his character more like Genki, such a sweety, looks so innocent, they even sit the same way. Just precious!
I think Momotaro should get the dad of the year prize - he's really changed in the last year toward his boys. He's great with his littlest one, and he's been very understanding with his teenage son's wild behavior. Considering that Momo's dad died when he was so little that he basically grew up without a dad, he's really turning out to be a wonderful father to his sons. I just watched the video from today when Momo was giving Gentaro extra attention, and hardly paying any attention to Kinny, which was just exactly what Gentaro needed. Good for you Momo!

I’ve never seen that before, on any video or herd of it, mainly the moms does! And genki is the best mom( human or not) I have ever seen! One of a kind
PRICELESS you don't see that intimacy very often. It reflects on you their caretaker's. It shows that they can perceive and receive love and give love back. That is priceless, you should pat yourselves on the back, since we aren't supposed to hug each other YET 😘
now this is the video that I have been waiting for Dad hugging his youngest son kintaro so beautyfull to watch Momtaro is great father to his boys when the boys are naulty he will tell them off so dad is great with the disapline too the boys will play up that,s part of growing the boys have to learn right from wrong mum and dad are the parents I just love this family
The oldest son is amazing, he is a fantastic big brother, he has played with the little boy so much, taught him how to interact and have fun, Dad has learnt from watching his oldest kid, this kid gets a hard time and a bad rap, really, he just wants to be accepted as part of the mob
Yes, Gentaro is a fantastic big brother and he only gets attention from Miss Hunn (sp) it appears. He’s so intelligent and deserving. Glad he has Miss Hunn! I wonder if he’s still receiving his counting and computer lessons. Surely hope so.
Gentaro is 9 years old...capable of procreation and has always received and been the center of attention by both of his parents. He's also been very aggressive towards Genki and Kintaro at times since Kintaro was born. Genki has been an excellent mother to both and if you watched videos when Kintaro was an infant, you would see that he's lucky to be alive due to the rough treatment he directed towards Kintaro. Both mother and baby were put through alot of stress and pain due to Gentaro's behavior.

As you stated, Momotaro had no male role model growing up - so he is self-taught. He is certainly grown into that role!

Silverback gorillas are male. Momotaro and his family are lowland gorillas. Gentaro and Kintaro will become silverbacks when they mature.
