Looks fantastic.. I love the way the screen is ergonomically integrated into the dashboard - I hate these things that look like an after-thought, like somebody stuck their old tablet on the dash with superglue.. & I like the sound of the engine from inside the cabin
It’s a beast and a half and Isuzu make the D Max better each model, as for the AT additions 😮 great pickup, likely one of the biggest in the UK, thank you.
I could see me sauntering down the Shropshire Lanes where I live vying with the plethora of JD tractors around here. If I was in the market for a serious truck, this would probably hit the spot! I noted on the motorway that tyre noise wasn’t too bad either. Top review as usual Ben with lots of detail 👍😎
I,m lucky I live in an honest place. My wife ordered an AT 35 it came quite quickly (no delays etc)...but a couple of weeks after it arrived and we were enjoying it....a truck arrived at the gate....Pallet for you sir??? sorry, we have not ordered anything. "Its for you definitely your address". Bloke came in and unloaded the pallett....on it were 4 alloy wheels and tyres, 2 brand new leaf springs, two front coils, brand new.....and 4 new shocks all brand spanking new. There were the bits from Arctic trucks that they took off to build our AT 35??? simple ask?? Do they do that in UK or do they nick all the parts and sell them on?? Just an honest question?? I Live in an honest place. Yes my wife's AT 35 is that Orange colour.....not my choice but it's her truck, she paid for it. What do I drive?? a 4 year old Wrangler JK CRD Rubicon...with a 2 inch lift....is the AT 35 as good off road.....Yes Yes Yes.....and it is a nicer drive.....the Jeep has a bit more punch off the line, but it is a 2.8 vs 1.9 so it should be.
I genuinely don’t know, I suspect yes as maybe at an event there was mention of loaded palettes, I have a brief recollection. Il get back to you, you sound like a proper off-road family 😀
@@PlanetautoUK Yes are a bit Off road....But having bought a 'retreat' in Eastern Poland we have to off road to get to our place. In the Past I had many Series Landrovers (about 7 in all) replaced by a Kangoo Trekka which was surprisingly good off road.. then a Pinzgauer and a Unimog U1300L Then a Jimny, (Diesel - the european Jimny could be had with the 1500? cc turbo diesel from the Renault Clio, we replaced that with - wait for it - a totally restored and dieselised UAZ 469b, replaced that with a Jeep Wrangler SWB, liked it so much we bought a Jeep Wrangler LWB Rubicon. We may finally be going to go 2 Wd by buying a VW Caddy Maxi to fit our Electric bikes in the back.😁
Wow, that’s hardcore - we love off-roading whether it’s 4x4s or my Trek Rail e-mtb, exploring is always on the cards, and that includes many road trips in new vehicles to attend events and share with likeminded people like you. Thank you so much for sharing your history of motors etc, we had a 2a briefly, now a C124 and Annabelle had a Jimny that she loved, keep on rollin’.
Why doesn't the UK/EU-spec D-Max get the more powerful 3.0-litre engine offered in other markets like Australia and New Zealand? Here, we only get the smaller 1.9-litre engine.
@@PlanetautoUK Hilux 2.8 Auto. The Hilux I had previously just felt more refined in my opinion than the 2.5 twin turbo and I can't imagine what the 1.9s like now. the Isuzu was a worthy contender, but I think I'll be getting a Lux

Is the AT truck only used for off road trips
No it’s for every eventuality, loads, towing - shopping 😀

One word - emissions
Is the engine weedy?
Not at all the 1.9 is a strong 4 cylinder and Isuzu will even tune it for you Westmach.
@ tune it to what? I'm either gonna have a Hilux or a Dmax and I'm interested to know the main differences other than a Hilux's increased power
Have you driven both? and which Hilux engine 2.4 or 2.8?

The Isuzu is strong and with MudMaster attributes, pretty unstoppable but yes it feels agricultural which I like 🤠
One thing you didn't cover is that the oil filter is an absolute B*stard to get to or maybe only on the LHDs
Hmm, possibly - il have a look when we get the Mud Master 😀
Tell me please...car cost a fortune. Call ARTIC TRUCK. And ney heating steering wheel. Even option
I don’t know il check 😀
