  • Here’s what we did as a family of 4 (+4 more relatives) on a weekend trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma. ⬇️
🌳 Broken Bow Depot. The train ride was so cute and a lot more fun than I thought it would be. There were deer galore and it went pretty fast at the end. 😳 My toddler loved it!
🌳 Tree Trail hike. This was a very family friendly hike along a river and in a shaded area. Even though it was only 1.2 miles, it took us a little over an hour to complete and that was plenty for my 2-year old.
🌳 Forest Heritage Center Museum. This was at the entrance of our hike. There is an “eh” museum inside but it was nice to get cool from the Oklahoma heat.
🌳 Hochatown. There is not a lot to see tbh but there is a petting zoo that many recommended. It is a huge petting zoo, but we skipped it because we already did the train earlier and nobody wanted to go inside. We did stop into some stores and bought ice cream.
🌳 Drive around Broken Bow State Park. There are some stops on the drive to take pictures and a beautiful lake. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for the lake and didn’t want my son to get wet (as he just had surgery) so it was another thing we skipped. I’d 100% recommend going to the lake though if you have the time. It was seriously beautiful and looked like loads of fun.
