I went to her class this past April majority of the class was basic knowledge about the Microblading & Microshading industry. I felt like when they were teaching you the technique everything was basically rushed. We spent like 20 minutes doing Microshading and about 2 hours with the blading. I love Sierra and Trina but the class wasn’t worth it. Currently getting ready to enroll myself into a 90 hour class where they not only teach the two techniques but help you get your cosmetic tattoo license. $4500 class. Wish I would have known this before signing up for Sierra class.
I feel the same way. I went to her class in April 2021 & I was excited at first but once I knew we had to take our own notes and write it down I was more focused on that instead of actually taking the knowledge in and seeing what’s going on. I definitely feel like I could’ve invested in a school or class that was 2 or 3 days but 1 day of this class wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to feel confident and I didn’t but I guess practice makes perfect.
I took it this pass march a so so regret it waist of my money nobody should not be able to to teach that class in one day I left with nothing this is a craft you have to master hours hours of practice mapping color theory so so much more I felt like I was scammed ladies save your money go to a real 3 4 day class
Where do you live now? Do you feel like it is worth taking now that she has upped the price by $200? Should I take it this month? I went to school for make up and skin I’ve been in the beauty industry for a while but this is something I want to learn hands-on. But if I can just buy the products online and watch RUclips videos then do you feel like I should do that instead of spending $2000
Sorry you for the late response. I’d personally go to a credible class in my area because they’d know the laws of that area when it comes to PMU. I’d take a class that’s a few days long, because one day isn’t long enough to learn this in my opinion. Also, I’d take a class where live models are needed in order to test out of the class, so that way you’re able to get a feel for the technique with real skin while being supervised.
@@CharCharBinkx she’s coming to St. Louis on the 27 th I’ve signed up for the class but I think I’m going to take your advice bc I been feeling like this as well I’m glad I’ve seen this girly video it made my mind up
I know they say you do not need experience for the class. I have zero experience in any of these techniques but I’m a fast learner. I am taking the class tomorrow do you have any advice?
Do some research and RUclips some PMU artists, come up with a list of questions on things that you don’t quite understand depending on what you see. Join some Microblading groups on Facebook as well. Get some latex skins off Amazon and practice, practice, practice. See if there’s a PMU artist in your area that would be willing to let you shadow them so you can see a procedure on a real person beginning to end.
@@CharCharBinkx Thank you, the class was good but I really need to do some more in-depth research. I also started watching a lot of videos on RUclips and practicing.
I took the class some years ago it was a waste of money credible is the right word. Shes just doing it for quick money. 1500 was like 30 something people in the class. She didn’t even do a live demo just had us do paper and fake skin. I had to take another course in esthetician school to get the hands on experience with real people. One day is not enough she knows that it’s a money grab.

I too feel the same way I took her class Dec 2019 and I didn’t learn much at all! It wasn’t one on one like she said she’d do with everyone

Also, talk to your local health and cosmetology board to see what’s required to legally do PMU in your county/state. Best of luck on your PMU journey!

So was the lash class good?
I didn’t take the lash class, I only took the Microblading/shading portion.
Thanks for the truth
