    Great list! I’ve been using the citrusafe for a few months based on your videos and it’s great. Your channel has been my main resource as I ease myself into the Weber kettle world. Great content!

      I made my own Slo & Sear from 2 Weber charcoal baskets. Works the same and holds the temperature just as well IMHO and saved me the $104.😊

    What's your suggestion for grill grates that need a deep cleaning?

    • @Viewtoagrill
      @Viewtoagrill  Год назад +4

      Get a hot fire going and burn it off… then scrub it off with a wire brush… then wash it with dawn dish soap… finish with citrusafe. … it will take a while to burn off all the old crud, you will know it is time to scrub when you see all the old stuff turn white.

  • @odom2142
    @odom2142 Год назад +1

    Maybe I am crazy, but I don’t clean my grill much. I just use a ball of foil on the grates before I cook. I scrape excess junk off with a plastic puddy knife. No deep cleaning, ever… But you’re probably a better cook than me. :)

    • @Viewtoagrill
      @Viewtoagrill  Год назад +2

      There was a time when all I did was scrap off the old stuff. Now… I find that actually cleaning them to the metal really helps the protein release from the grates.

    • @odom2142
      @odom2142 Год назад +1

      @@Viewtoagrill I just oil the food and the grates before cooking so food doesn’t stick.

    • @Viewtoagrill

      At home it seems to be the one I grab the most. I take the thermapen one to my comps.
