The fix was simple. In the UTM VM settings menu, under DISPLAY, change the "emulated display card" dropdown menu to: vitrio-ramfb. Finally booted Kali Linux successfully on my brand new mac architecture.

Yes, we are installing kali linux inside a virtual machine. MacOS is considered as host OS it serves all the system resources to Virtual machine. When its deleted, you are deleting the virtual machine that frees up the space and merge back to macOS automatically. Therefore to use kali linux again you need to reinstall from scratch.

Connect to the USB normally. When its connected, VMWARE will show a prompt asking you to use the connected device with Virtual machine or macOS. Choose VMWare.
Great video! I do have an issue though. Once the VM is running, my MacBook loses its internet connection. And within Kali Linux itself, I don't have working internet. Do you know what could be causing this?

Sorry mate, I think I figured it out. I had the 3D accelerator on, that's why the VM couldn't be booted.
When I start up kali I get "start pxe over ipv4" any suggestions?

Restart VMWARE Fusion and try again ..
First click on disk image option and then drag your Kali linux file. Hope it helps

Its not an application, its a feature of macOS Ventura. Open control centre. choose stage manager and enable it.

100% safe. No need to Worry. You are running Kali in isolated environment, it has nothing to do with macOS.

uTM has issues kali graphic Drivers in live CD currently. VMWare Works perfect much much better than UTM.

When I install neofetch htop -y, I encounter an issue. Could not open lock file and unable to lock directory. Some advise please.

You can technically, but its not recommended. Use the ARM64 ISO.
I don't reccomend you that arm64 module because you can't use Zenmap at arm64

Restart the Mac and try again. Make sure you are using an ISO ARM64. Also while selecting the Linux Preset Choose Debian 11 64 bit arm.
