- This is from the second Utaho no Tatari game. You can download it for free here: freegame-mugen.jp/adventure/g... (play it it's good)
This event is very easy to trigger, just keep walking under each of the three torii until the fake error message pops up. You may also want to save your progress before doing this, as it'll stay on the picture of the dead body until you close the game, loud sound and all.

The girl in the picture looks Asian to me. Maybe I’m wrong but I’d bet it is an Asian woman.

It’s the way we don’t know the backstory of the picture, the way it disguises as a glitch or crash, expecting for it to go to your desktop screen but getting this, the scary sound playing, it all is terrifying.

You know guys, I probably have Mandela's effect, but for some reason I think I saw that glitch screen somehow. Probably I saw it in some kind of "top scary easter eggs in games". Even tho this game is old, I see this glitch and I am shivering AF... This is really scary. I imagine myself how would I react if I did this glitch accidentaly. I don't care if this is wooden doll. It's an uncanny valley effect. That's why it's scary and uncomfortable to see.

Getting some heavy "Mario Victim #1" vibes but part of me believes this is a genuine picture of a dead woman. Seriously the way it flashes white making that strange sound a couple times at 0:24 before it cuts to the dead woman and the fact that you actually have to turn off or reset the game to get it to stop is genuinely freaky.
Yeah, this reminds me of MARIO too. The "findme" image was hidden very well in the game's files, and even today, years later, nobody knows where it came from (as far as I know). I believe people are still searching for it, actually.
There's strong speculation that it might be a edited image of a ghost from Fatal Frame

Came here from Nexpo's video. Since it's an RPG Maker game, I wonder if similar to the Kanye Quest game, if someone could decompile the game to find out what triggers this sequence. I do recall from my experience working on a fan translation of an existing game that decompiling RPG Maker games was surprisingly easy.

There's a RPG Maker game revolving around Kanye West with some interesting easter egg ARG that seems to be about a cult of some form. People were datamining and investigating it, and IIRC, they found out what it was fairly recently. I wonder if one could potentially find out more about the easter egg that way. @@HandThing
Forgot the RUclipsr's name, but apparently just walking through those three Torii gates sets off a timer. Once that timer reaches 0, it shows off the error message, flickers the screen white four times, then shows the dead lady.

it's worth noting that this image appears in other parts of the game as well, though, and is present outside of this cutscene's folder from the .wolf file
i believe it's just a creepy image payaaaaan either created himself or found in a dusty little corner of the internet. but that's just my speculation as a fan, you very well could be right!

@@ronaldy3a “glitch” in a 2011 horror game. The game uses other real disturbing photos and this has nothing to do with the story plus it seems like a glitch when it pops up so it’s scary
