I bought a pair of puma evospeed 1.3 yesterday which were never worn. Today I wore them in training and I can definitely say that 2014 was the best in terms of football boots. Brands should make boots like this again. adidas with the new X + seems to be trying to go back that way
They still have that “dip” in the midfoot but it feels less pronounced. More comfortable but not as close to the ground or locked in, in my opinion anyway.
Well Kinda. Nike made it less pronounced on the Vapor 12 Elite onwards. On the Vapor 11, Superfly 5 and Flyknit Ultra it was very noticeable at first, it was the most extreme version of the anatomical shaping for sure. Quite honestly on the Vapor 12, 13 and 14 felt more normal. It was there, but not as extreme.

I am SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING Mizuno Morelia Neo 4 beta given that they are MADE IN JAPAN and also the top quality leather. The fact that they classify as speed boots is a bit surprising to me though, but in a very good way. My question is: Outfielders will absolutely love them, but are they suitable for goalkeepers? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Mizuno Morelia Neo MIJ all day long. Doesn't matter if it's III or IV. Haven't tried out Alpha on pitch yet. Morelia Neo III and IV are the best boots out there after Nike Hypervenom OG. Vapors are overrated. Disgusting shape especially around toebox for controlling ball, too high toebox, needs a lot of breaking time. Go for Mizuno, won't regret it. Crazyfast+ looks promising too.
Agree 100%, vapor/superfly have terrible uppers and shape, only saving grace is the plate and Zoom bag. The Crazyfast+ is the best synthetic and the Mizuno Morelia Neo IV is the best 1/4 leather boot
I have always been a fan of the Mercurial line but I have such a wide feet that. For the size which fit my feet in the Width, there will be at least an Inch or more of empty space in the tip/front of the boot.
I think you forgot to mention the Adidas Speedportal 99 leather, i feel like it’s close to the mizuno but it falls down the list because it’s a limited edition ?

i know i'm extremely late, but never buy a boot that doesn't fit you. Don't buy a boot that you have to go a size up or down. Find a boot that fits you or find wider models (2e)
I'm a defender, I mostly play CB, but sometimes I play RB. I'm a very fast and physically defender, what cleats do you think will be best for me. I also play in Vegas so the ground is very hot and hard.

Boots by possition is marketing bs. You can play in Copa Mundials and be the best winger around. Futures & Tiempos used to be good for wide feet but current gen are a bit slimed down. Best bet for wide feet: Predator Accuracy, Phantom GX or any of the 3 models from New Balance in the wide (2E) variant. Predator are the widest and have a nice, roomy toebox (which is equally as important as the width of the boot). Dont make the mistake of going 1/2 size up in slim boots just to fit your foot in.
I bought a pair of the shadow pack vapor 15 elites and the heel liner is blue, and I was wearing white grip socks, and now my grip socks have been stained by the heel liner anyone else have that issue with their boots? I have never seen that before

I just found my evospeed 1.2 in my parent’s garage…..so happy to be reunited with them

I didn’t include LE releases that you can’t actually get. Those are great boots though. Hard to say that they’re better than the Mizunos though.
