It is so cool to see the locomotive up and running. It has been a childhood dream for me to be part of a team that would restore locomotives specially here in the Philippines.
It’s great to see a small dedicated group of enthusiastic guys restore this old Baldwin loco. I reckon it must be hugely addictive to have the loco up and running, and see the fruits of their labour rewarded. I’m loving these videos!
I do wonder if any of these loco's worked out of the Innisfail refinery? I was working for the prince of Lucinda on the burnt cane haul out and back then the loco's were little diesel powered and at harvest they usually worked at night, too many snakes for my liking!😂
It's built on private land and was never a commercial operation. There are also 12 inch gauge and 7.25 inch gauge lines on different levels up the hillside. It will be around 1 klm long, out around a loop and back.
When are you going to fit the cylinder drain cocks, or are they missing and you will have to manufacture some? Well done guys showing a lot of promise.
@@BelbinVideoIt IS a little silly, but reminiscent of illustrations in the original version of "The Little Engine That Could" by Watty Piper. I trust that "The Little Engine That Could" has reached the shores of Australia; is it as popular there as it is in the States?

Thanks, Andrew. It certainly has its moments.
@@BelbinVideo I’m absolutely certain of that Graeme
Its like living the dream of an 8 year old boy playing with his Lionel. Very neat!
Wonderful video! Absolutely beautiful Baldwin Loco. You guys did well. Keep up the good work!
Many thanks. Yes, it is a delight, I can't disagree.
butterpig supremacy
Steamed up and rolling! Outstanding! 😊
Good video, appreciate the hard work done to preserve all the locos, say g'day to woody for me .
She Looks Good.👍
"Beautiful" doesn't do it justice.
Excellent job.
Thats so cool!
You need more track desperately to let her go! Awesome video!
What a little rip snorter. Some more track now would be great to hear and see it meandering through the bush with a couple of "trailer's".
Chris, there is more track down since this video. Have a look at my channel for clips of locos running out on the mainline.
Not only one but two ! My hats off to you men. Very cool , very cool indeed.👍👍👍🇺🇸✌🏻🙏🏽😎
I know this small loco from a game, and... damn is it cool to see it in 'choo choo' in reality. ❤ Great lil thing
is the Lake Macquarie Light Rail still operating?
great to see running again
Yes, still going, as far as I know.
Great toys for big kids ! AAA+++

18:38 - What is the valve gear on "Ivy"?
Gorgeous engine, do you have more track to stretch her out?
Short Line Rail Road. Now how to get it to where it needs to go.

They are fitted, just not visible in this and not controlled for most of this video. They are now, though.
Very Nice !

Why no paint on her wheels?
Wheels are painted black.
Elisha springs
The bell on the sand dome, that seems like a bit of a pain in the arse
If it was built for an American railroad, it would be natural for it to have both a whistle and a bell. . .
theirs something wrong with quality look here 1889 still steams up after tlc today it’s one and your done.
Not sure what you're trying to say, here.
@@BelbinVideo the old kerosene lantern shows up better at night verses day time. their version of head lights.
Well, she's a Baldwin loco. Of course she still runs - they built well.
