I come to see this video since 2013, every year I watch it. This video with this music helped me get through a very hard time in my life, really thank you Paragon for this. They deserve heaven 😭

so true, and the best part is that paragon got the world first on both fear and will, and they still are #1 overall.
Whats interesting in this this big "world first-shenanigans" is that, Paragon has never during MoP claimed World First on any of the movie titels. Meanwhile Method and Blood Legion will spam that shit with caps lock over the entire screen.
I love coming 2 watch these kills in part because it's awesome to see this guild continue to do so well and keep pace with all the big guilds out there, but these videos are just amazing to listen to as well as watch. LK Is still my fave kill, but these are just as musically appealing =3

-pushing your dps higher then it should be possible with current gear etc.

I totally agree with you, but in my opinion the Deathwing kill is also one of the most amazing videos they made. With all the talking between the aspects and deathwing they made that really boring encounter something extraordinary.

The general gameplay is harder in 10 man yes.
But every encounter works in a different way, so sometimes you get an easier time if you play in a 10 man group, others when you play in a 25 man group.
But the whole point, that explains why 25 man is more "prestigious" is all the effort and work you have to put in for the following:
1. find 150% more good, dedicated, somewhat likeminded people
2. keep 150% more people motivated.
3. Naturally, more often you'll have to replace people.
4.Leadership

That moonkin like shooting Starsurges 24/7 this damage was pretty crazy with getting those 300k crits like he doesnt care at all
i love how they tag world first 25 man heroic. that really means world second to everyone.
They use the normal modes to practise heroic mode strats, assemblies and layouts/placements, they could 1-shot through normal mode faster than anyone else in the world if they wanted to, but to do this would be disadvantagous to them.

My argument was, that they are simly in different weight classes. That alone, for me, is enough to sort them in different categories with a world first for each one. There aren't even much more arguments I could list.
It's more likely that because the encounter was never tested on HC, the designers of DBM didnt know the enrage, so it autoran the normalmode enrage timer even on HC.

You'd be surprised how that's not true. Even in a 25-man raid, when a DPS dies, we often reset (if possible) or wipe as well. It's because the enrage timers are just so tight, losing even 1 DPS will make us unable to beat the enrage timer. Of course, when gear increases, we might make it with 1 DPS down, but we're long from that point.

On to the video! The music choice was excellent, you made a boring fight look more fun with this exceptional taste of yours Paragon once more just like Ragnaros and LK (Which were lovable fights though!)
Most of their raiders quit during 4.3, some believe it was because they got banned and couldnt get world first Deathwing. They didnt have enough time to get the full raiders, and their decision for 10 man was made shortly before MoP.
I Actually think this is one of the best Kill vids of paragon... except LK 25 HC

The Ashbringer effect you are seeing is the paladin tier 5 talent Holy Avenger. It is a cooldown which, when activated and throughout its duration, changes the user's weapon into Ashbringer. He didn't change the weapon, he used Holy Avenger.

The berserk timer resets when you join P2, you will have in P2 again 15 mins until the Sha goes to berserk.
Paragon will stay in all memories of Wow players - they prove time after time they are the elite of Hardcore raids . No matter it was in 10 , they've already prove their valor in 25

The entire time the enrage timer was counting down I was freaking out.. I feel stupid =| Epic video though, and Fraggoji reppin dat prot pally deeps o.O
I'm proud to be a paragon fan, I dont just hop on to the bandwagon of other guilds and suddenly think what they do is cool. But you keep going with that....thing of yours.

Because they spend the first days clearing trash over and over again for reputation. They probably spent a great deal of time doing the few daily things that grant shado-pan assault rep instead of aiming for a fast normal kill.
Besides, they probably downed the raid in 25man to ensure that their 10man team got more loot.
No wonder. The clock was 7 am in the morning, I doubt they had any nerdcreams left in them after pulling an all nighter :P
While I totally agree about everything you said, the biggest deal in getting those world firsts is finding the amazing players. It's a lot harder to find 25 truly great players than 10.

Damn paragon makes some of the best-quality kill videos out there.Even tho I don't play neither paladin nor druid I find each video extremely interesting and watch the whole thing.I really wish you guys start making more videos and hopefully we get to see Garrosh 10 HC video soon.

Paragon switched to 10 man after they realized they really didn't have enough motivated players, they said they would like to go back to 25 man but it's impossible atm. They also said 10 man heroics seems about the same as 25 man heroics. The only problem they have with 10 man is the fact that there is no real competition in the world, they reign supreme.
Actually, there was no berserk. The timer you saw was for normal version of encounter and does not apply for heroic version.
They really went all out on designing the phase 2 environment.. Reminds me of the time I fell through the floor in WoW and ended up in a big grey glitchy area.
Thats one HELL of a way to wrap up a heroic tier of raiding. :O

Well it was wrong of them to say this, too, and (e.g.) I remember being a bit mad about their Ragnaros hc statement. But if you're asking me this tier just showed that ppl who see 10 and 25man equally challenging might be right. Except for the Emperor (who seems to be easier in 10man) the times between Para and Methods kills are merely a matter of hours. If you look at Ragnaros, they were 1 week faster than Method. If 10 man was so easy, I think they'd cleared it way faster than the rest.
Look at paragon's previous statements on 10 man raids, referencing them as not serious, jokes, etc. But now that they are doing them i'm sure they are much harder than 25.
Like I said, they were a 25 man guild before and they were untouchable by anyone else until T13 due to 8-day bans. So yeah, they proved they can be at the top as a 25 man guild and now dominating as a 10 man guild. Not a fanboy, just a fan who actually has facts to offer. kthxbai

Funny thing is, a lot of the people that get mad about the 10/25 debate have never raided at a level where it would matter. Like it or not both recquire such astronomical skill that the argument is irrelevant.
Differences are between comps, you can have every class of healer in 25 man, but not 10 man and if disc priests are the only real good healers for a fight 10 man is less affected, and vice versa. 10 man race is 10 man race and 25 is 25, they are completely different and shouldn't be compared. I don't care if Paragon or Blood Legion or Method got world first, I personally only care about 25m.

i can for you, the majority of the bosses in TES are shield tank heavy meaning if it doesent have block its not good kinda like how gara's voodoo dolls hit all members for what the tank took regardless of shielding

Did 6/8 10m in the week of release due to being banned out and 25m the week after that. As i said, apart from yor'sahj and ultraxion, which were noticeably harder in 25, everything until then was a joke regardless. Blackhorn was definitely more tricky on 10m and while you could simply disperse/vanish impale, everything was down to one person - whereas in 25m you simply didn't give a shit at all. no SP or rogue in 10m often meant 2 tanking it, which indeed made it harder than you might think.

If you dont know what your doing then no. They are largely about the kind of build you go into. So if you go into the haste build your looking at alot of damage all at once. Where is Lappé goes into crit which is the primary stat build for balance. He can do alot of damage in 1 hit. thats why he tops.
It is true, Paragon can easy get 25 people for raids. But they said it before they play the version which is hardest atm and that is the 10 man at this point. So they switched 10 man.
Just remember this one, when im doing pandaria remix lfr. Good old days...

This was the first week of seeing the boss on heroic. (Wasn't tested on the PTR). So it is the addon assuming it has the same enrage time as in normal, which it does not.
I like Paragon, yes. They get many world 1sts which makes it interesting and (at least back then) they made the best killvideos. That's why I follow them. I wouldn't go as far as calling me a fanboy. But I guess I brought that one on my own.

Sure that's what people like to think but 25 man also has the advantage of gearing people up quicker than 10 man does.
why does lappe use windsong instead of jade spirit. i'm assuming it does more dps?

That's where our views differ. They always write it like this: "(25 Heroic) World First"
That doesn't really say it's just 25 man 1st. It says it's a 25 man raid and it is world first. If you put something in brackets, it's because it's semiimportant or a little addition or whatever. If you want to make something clear, you don't bracket it.
And yes, I know how I sound. But trust me, I'm not a 12yr old haterkid. I just find it a bit cheap and want to add my (unwanted) opinion to the discussion.

Ppl are just blind. They always say: IT'S HARDER TO GET 25 GOOD PLAYERS. That's make no fucking difference on the fight's difficulty. On 10 man u have no room to make mistakes. On 25 man, you cheese the mechanics up. 10 man is what it's. 25 man is hard as well, but you don't need as much INDIVIDUAL skill as 10 man players do. 10 man you gotta be the best, 25 you gotta be good. Finding 10 excelent players is much harder than 25 goods (with some very good players among them). 11 - 25/ 2 - 10 kills
The Sha is emotions withdrawn from Emperor Shaohao and hidden beneath Pandaria, in an atempt to protect pandaria against his own emotions (fear, anger and doubt that is) so the mogu would stay in control... that, however, went good, untill the horde and alliance cam along (taken from wowwikki)... but, the pandaren have always known they were there, and always tried to minimize those feelings.

What was up with the boomkin not being in form for a big part of the fight?
i think youll find most of the higher end guild raiders dont really worry much about normal mode. if you saw the charts week before last (5.2 release) a fair few guilds had done whole of normal mode, yet hardly any of those were the top end guilds (paragon/vodka/blood legion...) now that heroic is out they are back up there, where they belong.
I meant something else with brackets. And I care about 10 man guilds. I'm raiding 10man as well and I think it's lame how ppl smile at it as if it's still the easy way to have success. The only difference between 10 and 25 nowadays is that 25 is more epic and impressive and needs a little bit more coordination. But overall it isn't really harder. There are some mechanics that are easier in 10man and some that are easier in 25. And looking at the killtime differences supports my point, I'd say.
When Paragon were 25m they never counted 10man kills in world rankings, they are getting a taste of their own medicine right now.
