Hi everyone! We were extremely excited to see the final result of this small project. We're currently ripping out the interior and are already sourcing parts for our manual conversion.
What is something you would like to see us do to/with this car? Let us know 👇

Excited to see this in the works. I definitely have an affinity for the e36 TCC 318i and that apline white is it. Excellent colour for the valve cover. Keep it up, enjoy the journey and the car immensely when it completed.
    Respect from 🇹🇹

do i have to mask something off in the engine bay when using the dremel tool to restore the engine (because of the small flying particles etc)? 🙏

I guess if you just look around for any potential hazards you'll be fine. The air intake is pretty much tucked away nicely anyway and that would be the biggest issue I imagine. Maybe temorarily put a cover on the alternator or something. Other than that I'm not aware of any immediate dangers :)

Whichever one I found at the DIY store 😅 I think for the grooves I started with like 80 grit and ended with something finer
