POV: your at an art show, on your phone. Interesting to also see a group of three standing together, on their phone. A testimony for the art itself or just society?
Yes, this is now. :) Thanks for watching and I hope you can subscribe and like the video.

@@jdisenos9293 Buena suerte.
So inspiring
Works remind me of 30 years ago what we did as undergraduate art students not feeling what was being exhibited

Job well done 1175 painters allied trade union.
Thank you.
I would recommend you to pick the art that you like, even the best according to your taste, and explore it more closely than trying to show everything casually. Some of the things you focused on were not as good as the others hanging on the other side of the wall. Seeing so many art, you kinda develop an eye for the new and unique and magnetic… 🙏😊
Art is subjective
I am interested in showcasing a piece of Art I have inherited from my Father. Is there a way I can show and possibly sell it at Art Basel?
You have to ask a gallery. We are not a gallery.
Emptiness.

Amo poco quei grovigli di tele dove tutto è confuso e attorcigliato. Mi piacciono invece gli sfondi campiti , i volumi definiti , i colori vivi e luminosi.

With your iPhone on a stick, you have done a good job. Please do this every year. I will watch it. However, the show is pretty bad and I kept falling sleep. Did anything grab your attention?

Troppi quadri " insalata mista", vado avanti sperando in qualcosa di gradevole,, troppa cartellonistica, nessuna poesia.

12 minutes watched. I have found it moribund and suffocating. It could be the curator's eye, but it is largely my own perspective here.
It feels like a walk through a vast sterile warehouse. An art depot. In a way it all looks cheap as a result.
It feels to me, like it reflects the current stage in the decay of Western civilisation, to which wealthy collectors seem immune, oblivious or blithely indifferent.
I wonder if this year's fair is an accurate barometer of the state of Western culture (within a meta frame of international culture), and to what extent curators determine what's on the table, and to what extent they're symptomatic of the zeitgeist.
These are my subjective personal views- and even if it is, for me, mostly a bleak experience, overall (though I did find little bright spots), it's still a culturally valid one, that I got something out of. It made me think there is a desperate need to bring the soul back into art, and the Art World. Curators can play a part in making it happen
It was a great walk-trough for me. I loved it.

Top of art modern art abstract paintings lots of abstract art. Top in the world for quality and artists. Basel.is the big center of art world and Miami art Basel too. Very High culture level of modern art gallery. Lots of visitors testify the success.
Were are the "highlights"?
Arts tool repeting it self and the questions are the same. We are at the end of an era. Under some seconds I saw in the corner of the screen something new, independent and unit. The cameranan did not see it.
???
The people watching is more interesting than the art. (Though actually, many of the people look bored and aimless).
I also like to people-watch but it's the art we are here for. Thanks for commenting.
Do you have a full walkthriugh of all the art at tbr conve ntiin center?? @artefuse thanks for sharing..and did you film art with me?

People watching is great there but it's too much going on too much art if I can say that
What was happening at the entrance?
Protesting the war in Gaza. Some got arrested.

Do artist need to explain about what they have done?
That’s up to the artist.
Yes the movement was very sickening. just images stills of the artwork would have been 100% better (editing). thank you for taking the time but i only lasted 8minutes then got sick.
Picasso would throw up
Picasso has nothing to do with this. This is contemporary art today not 80 years ago.
@@artefuse ...and Rembrandt would have thrown up looking at Picasso. Your point is valid.
@@artmias5538 Excatly! How about Rembrandt to Duchamp? but that is not the point, the point is the conversation happening now. That's all.
picasso was a women-izer... people would throw up on him now a days
picasso was a wo m3n-izer... people would throw up on him now a days
Most if not all of these works are just generally horrible and meaningless. They do not resound or echo any current thematics of humanity nor do they stand as a much needed leap forward for it. Mindless, boring, all for show and zero substance.
We will completely disagree with you.
The fact that they are selling so well, to people who aren't playing the "financial shield" game, speaks fully to the contrary. Art appreciation is manifested from within the viewer, and the viewer is largely affected by the "thematics of humanity" around them. In the same way that the modern art era of the early 20th century has thrived for 7-9 decades, this art evolution will continue to be relevant for far longer than the projections of critics. Every evolutionary step taken within the art world has artists that withstand the test of time, and artists who don't. The "don'ts" will drastically outnumber the "DOs", as always.
IMO, the art scene over the last decade was largely filled with sensationalists, who were more akin to shock jocks looking for attention, than artists. Fortunately, the art scene has experienced a hard, fast pendulum swing away from those theatrics. The art world, today, is vibrant!
All that being said, everyone has an opinion, particularly where art is concerned, and they're entitled to it. I acknowledge and respect your right to your opinion. Our reactions to art aesthetics is largely why it is so interesting. Without our opinions, we are little more than upright ashes.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
@artefuse Thank you so much for your service to the art world. Those of us who are unable to attend these relative exhibits are in your debt.
@@artmias5538 Thank you for that comment. Yes, everyone has an opinion and I am open to it but I will let you know what I think of your opinion. It's only fair.
@@artefuse 100% agree...and I always look forward to yours. Thanks again! 😎👍
Um, are you looking for a second Renaissance or something? Did you show your amazing life changing work? Just because you weren't taken by anything, doesn't mean a work substance wasn't present. Are you just trolling for likes?
Not one damn thing worth $20.00. It all looks wrecklessly ,Think Tank created. There is no life, no soul, no heart, no subject in any of this meaningless tripe.
We respectfully disagree.
Thanks for showing but try not to swing back and forth so much.

Malevich's "Black Square" put an end to the portrayal of reality and laid the foundations for the development of all modern art. Before the First World War, Hobbes's ideas had reached their limit, as historians say the spirit of war was in the air. 1911 "Gioconda" is stolen the French blame the Germans and France is going to declare war on Germany. Malevich expressed the sense of the inevitability of the approaching end in his "Black Square". Later, his ideas would serve as an impetus for Victor Vasarely and the creation of a new style of art, Op Art, on the basis of which all computer graphics is built. We are on the threshold of the discovery of the quantum computer and here the main role is played by light, so "Victory over black..." ruclips.net/video/ALW8-tclRHk/видео.htmlsi=7nBDQmxy6xPaCEzf inevitable
