Sir ... continue to do what you do how you want to do it and never apologize for your productions - may these short films culminate into something huge propelling you into the limelight
1. Psychosis, Excellent. 2. C600 Malfunction, Oh Shit! LOL, Excellent! 3. The Invisible Woman, Huh? Excellent. 4. Exclusion Zone too short (ish) good though. 5. C600 Step back in time, heh, excellent. 6. Cuttlefish, sneaky F'ers, well done. 7. From Above, Dink! all that speed and mass hit their house and went "dink!"? Peas? New sub, keep up the great work!
Bro you be making sum badass videos. I can't believe they haven't gotten out there more then they have. Keep up the great work you and your crew been doing. Can't wait to see more new videos from you. Your a beast. Much love.
The bartender reminds me of the one in the tv movie Passengers. He was an android. He said the same thing. Programmed to shine up glasses because that’s what’s expected and this bar tender is just as personable.
I really appreciate your work! Such an underrated artist you are! Why don't u start making full scale movies? Did u look for sponsors or apply to companies? If u release a full scale movie I'll be the first one to watch it from my place for sure! Much respect! Asian Power!💪💮🔥❤️
Well I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Very well written, directed and edited. Convincing actors and good acting. The sets were well presented, realistic for the theme and not once did I think oh that’s a movie set. In other words plausible. Good work guys .
@@tims9434 Ok, I had to go back and check! I watched the first two and I liked those. I didn't like the third, I found the story morose and unappealing so I watched about a third of that then exited out. I saw the fourth in which most of it was dialogue about what was happening instead of acting it out. I started the fifth then gave up, because that was unappealing as well. You are perhaps correct, I may have missed the point. What was the point? I just didn't see any of these film shorts that I viewed meriting an award!
@@tims9434 Oh, also did you like the films and if so what appealed to you. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic due to being primed by the title of "award winning." Either way I enjoyed the first two!
The third installment in this is brilliant too, The invisible woman, and the acting in both of them is really good,a few of them will go into bigger things, Sara Alexander Mark's I think is her,she definitely will see Bigger thing's 👍👍👍
Outstanding writing, acting, directing, screen sets and brilliant sound editing. "Cuttlefish", in particular, is an excellent example of, ' predictive programming' and reveals that, as with Spielberg, Lucas and many others, Mr. Ridder is revealing the truth via movies. They want people to think and say: "I saw what you're talking about in a sci-fi movie, so it can't possibly be real!" "Movies are only make believe, you idiot!"
Couldn't keep my interest up, the crappy music in them put me off, thumbs up for the vids, but your choice of either OLD time or .........music is disappointing, scifi and old time music don't go together!
@@BlakeRidder oh your work is so cool; just me, the day, the mood maybe. Don't imagine for a second your vast creative efforts do not stand for themselves.
Well there went another hour and a half of my life online. Message to self. Must escape the matrix. I am going back in wish me luck and comment on how you escaped.
You just become aware of the matrix and do little petty things nonstop until it gets pissed and throws you out. Don't hang around the front door either or it'll think you learned your lesson and drag you back in...
i REALLY hope the others are better than the first one!!!...or i am going to be VERY ANGRY at having wasted 1½ hours of my life + the title 🤬 '..award winning..' ?! 😡
Just going through this on RUclips The second short on this compilation is absolutely fu,,,,,,ckin brilliant , can't find a title just ridder film's 👍👍👍👍
So when are you going to make "Exclusion Zone" into a full-length feature. That's a movie I'd want to watch. And there aren't many movies I want to watch these days.
@@BlakeRidder Well, if I win the billion-dollar Powerball drawing tomorrow, I'll be in touch. '-) You certainly don't need me to tell you this, but you are an extraordinarily talented filmmaker. I look forward to your next film. Best of luck to you.

I liked PSYCHOSIS very much, a no-way-out situation. With a subtle hint of 'The Shinning', not sure if it's just me but the bar gave me "auto-chills" . ( I just came up with that "auto-chills"....lol ) yes you can use it :)

Who need Hollyweird with creators like this...kudos to all involved in these short films, very well done.
"Psychosis" was a great exercise in storytelling and minimalism! Great work!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks
Great work. I love the way they all interlink, like little Easter eggs, linking the films. Well done. 👏
Any thoughts of putting your shorts on DUST? They have over 3 million subscribers.
Yea. Never been accepted. Tried multiple times
In my humble opinion, all of these short films were very very good on every level.
Cuttlefish has such a wonderful perverse ending!! I love it ;)
It is difficult to choose a "best movie" from Blake Ridder, they are all so good. Cinematography amazing, acting excellent & the best storylines
Thank you :)
So true Jezzter!

OK bit confused with the "Invisible Lady" Who and why did they become invisible? I've watched it twice now and still cant figure it out doh.

Fun fact about the actress in C600- shes actually a robot, playing a robot, disguised as another robot.
A house that talks to you. Interesting.
The invisible woman sent chils down my arms.
Very, very good short videos. Too bad they are so short... they are so good we wish they would be longer

Thanks. I have made two already. Look me up on Amazon prime or Apple TV. Second one is out later this year tho.
So like Alfred Hitchcock who used to write himself in his films so does Mr. Ridder. Interesting. And it still works well.

Oh my goodness. I loved these stories 👍 I'm subscribed and will watch more vids.
These are not award winning films! All of the actors, directors and producers just "high fived" each other and said "great job!"
Yep
