This is gorgeous. I really love the gold detail on the butterfly & the leaves. Mixed media is so fun, & you’re really making amazing projects with it. Beautiful card!!
@Mindy Eggen Design • I love the brick embossing powder. You described it so well that I think it will be perfect for my stencils & fireplace stamps. The white grains sound perfect to bring dimension but not sparkle, which could bring too much attention to these elements. You also gave the best demo of the Hero Arts wax that I have seen. Just adding it around the edges of the butterfly really lets you see it in its glory. I much prefer the way you used it to others who add it atop another media. Love the design of the card. Even with the color of the brick and the gold on the butterfly, it's very muted and soothing. Looking forward to your journey into mixed media.
Mindy, not typically a fan of mixed media journals, but used on a card, I really like it. Your card also provides a better view to some of Hero Arts’ products, it can be somewhat difficult to visualize what a product will look like, without seeing it used. Great card😀
