There are many sides in this story
The mom is kinda rude, demanding and entitled. She's nice sometimes but then becomes irritated very easily clearly. Not to mention she threw a little tantrum by pushing the decor off the table aggressively. This might sound harsh but she's kinda being a little dramatic.
The kids aren't exactly perfect either. The boy is rude of course. And the girl is pretty sassy. But you know there must be a reason why. But who knows.
Edit: okay first the mother throws a tantrum because the kids aren't spending time with her then she proceeds to have gaslighting behavior and now them and their friend are going to guilt trip and traumatize the kids to make them feel guilty about themselves
This isn't a lesson, this is a narcissistic attack.. this is gaslighting. if I was one of the kids I wouldn't believe a single thing her friend says.
The friend: You're mom is in the hospital and imma take care of you until she gets back
Me: Bullshit! I would've gotten a phone call or something if she was in the hospital. What the hell makes you think I will believe you? Is this your way of guilt tripping us into having Thanksgiving dinner with you? Well guess what sweetheart. You're little plan isn't going to work. You are not gonna break me that easily. And she (aka the mother) can sit there and complain about us not spending time with her all she wants, but I will NOT let her control me and put me down!

The problem with kids nowadays do not have respect if I talk to my parents the way that little boy talks to his mother. It would’ve been on like donkey Kong. It’s really sad how kids treat their parents nowadays that’s what’s wrong with America. There’s no respect for nobody people are so selfish. Even kids sometimes are very selfish. God have mercy !
