They play Kansas City twice Chargers twice the Raiders twice the Bengals ravens the Steelers, the Browns. Etc. If they don’t have a quarterback, they have no shot at winning that division or fighting for wildcard no matter how good the defense is because in the AFC you have the ravens the Bengals Browns Chiefs Chargers. Bills? Jets Dolphins. And every single one of those teams I just named have a better quarterback then Denver so to be honest Sean Payton gets the bronco team to 500 that would be lucky. They’re probably gonna be under 500 team Sean should’ve kept Russell but if anything, Sean Payton gets fired and maybe goes to Dallas if McCarthy gets fired or maybe goes to New York if they will get fired or Chicago so they’ll be a few different options

If the Giants are not going for a QB and I assume they will not draft top 10 with this coach again, they are greasing this coach's skids and a tank 2025. Starting a rookie 10 games you half expect to draft top 10, if he and the offense do not look like the Panthers the coach will get another year. Denver chances for a QB and ended up with a tank QB, this is a tank year for next year's QB, the ownership group knows you need a good coach and QB to be good. Payton will be around till they know he cannot find a QB, with QB contracts he will have options to draft one next year or sign Dak.

And they choose
Wisely by getting Jamar Chase who is a generational player. The Julio Jones of this generation. In 2021 the Jags had the first pick and they took Lawrence. The next year they were still the worst team In the league and again had the first overall pick. I would have traded back but they took Travon Walker. Payton is a jackass. Wilson was getting much better and had them in a playoff chance. So why not go one more year with him and see if he could go furthe since you are paying for himr! But Payton NEVER wanted him. So they give him away while have NO QB to replace him!

Put Tomlin on the hot seat too, knock off the bias

Tomlin's a good coach. That's a hard division. There are way worse coaches in the NFL, even within the AFC North.

LOL. No way. The guy has been a consistent winner; is in the toughest division in the league; doesn't have a great or even good quarterback, and yet STILL got his team in the playoffs. No. You're wrong. And, don't think I'm going to let you get away with that snide, underhanded comment about "knock off the bias." No one has implied the "R" word. Only you.

I think he has to win, but most coaches would be 5-11 with that roster.
He needs to be better, but he's not far off.
Also, they would need a viable replacement to him.
Tomlin would literally be hired by Jerry Jones or the Jets in 6 seconds.
He would be the hottest coach to hire if he was fired.
He needs playoff wins, but I think they win one this year. They are 2 years from a SB contender.

@@michaelwallace2487 Yes Tomlin is a good coach, but I think the Steelers ownership and fans are becoming impatient for something more than the winning regular seasons he's been providing. If Wilson or Fields and the other new acquisitions don't elevate the Steelers, then Tomlin will sooner or later will be on the hot seat.

@@713davidh42 Tomlin is like Marty Shotenheimer was in the 1980's and 1990's. Could never get it done in Kansas City. He won a lot but couldn't get to the dance.
