Hope you enjoy.
Well done, well done. Everywhere I grew up. Starting across the street from my brother's bar the ASH club where my grandfather was a member in the 30s, the legendary courthouse where my father would testify after making arrests, YMCA where I hung out sometimes, St Clair park was our shortcut to town across the tracks, Offutt Field where my dad QB'd GSHS to the championships in the 50s, Blessed Sacrament Cathedral where I was confirmed and attended 1st thru 6th grade before it was Thomas Aquinas, and our mother worked in the rectory (I remember Fathef Mihms), Seton Hill where we would sled ride on those great hills, GSHS where I graduated 1977. Hmm, Hemphield, no comment. 😅. Westmoreland mall and the Chevy dealership on 30 where my Uncle Tig sold me my first car, 1970 Camaro. Lynch Field where I spent every summer day: swim team, little league, tennis, ice skating, dead mans tunnel, and the Air Force T33 jet we played on, now long gone. And I'm guessing that's Twin Lakes, ahhh the trout fishing and family reunions! Wrap it up back at Maple street entrance to St Clair park. Thanks for the memories!
This was beautiful!
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing
One of the most beautiful Court Houses in the country.
I miss Greensburg alot. I moved away for work 6 years ago. Wish I could have seen my house in South Greensburg. Then again not to much to look at there except houses, 1 school, and 1 old football field lol. Great video I really enjoyed that.
Hey Brett! thanks for watching. your name sounds very familiar...perhaps we've crossed paths. thanks again for checking it out. and best wishes to you.
I'm partial to Rause Beer distributor, long since closed, the Roosevelt club across the parking lot where my grandfather took me often, and then the empty lot across Jack's Run from that which is where my grandfather's house used to stand.
I LOVE GREENSBURG
Hey Logan! Nice meeting you. Do you currently live there? And yes, pretty cool little town with a nice variety of things to do.
Yes love it.
