I had to watch this a few times to understand, but once I started, it was quite easy. I trimmed six inches off the bottom (I’m rather short), but it turned out beautifully!! Thank you for the pattern and the video!!❤️❤️❤️
Wow! Amazing to watch... I've been sewing all of my life (I'm a grandmother) and have never seen anyone do a buttonhole by hand. And everything is to perfection. Thanks so much for this video. Can't wait to make for my granddarlings! Checking out your channel now. Thanks again!
I watched your video. Thank you for the clear instructions relating to joining the waistband ties. I was in the process of sewing a wrap skirt pattern and could not understand the illustrations and the written instructions So, your video was great❤
@@neetusoy My fabric was 140cm x 3-ish meters, iirc. I would suggest you to first make all the patterns on paper in real size, cut them out and then estimate how much fabric you need 😀
Thank you so much 😊for the BEST EASIEST wrap skirt. I am loosing weight and need a simple wrap skirt for the next few months. I'll be back. Thank You again!🥳
i completed this project and eventhough i made some mistakes im very happy with it! im a beginner so i was kinda scared. i used viscose fabric and did french seams bc i dont have an overlock machine. thank you so much for this video!
Wild you be able to tell us the finished garment measurements on yours? Like the finished waist measurement and finished length in the back and front? I’m drafting the pattern but it’s not looking quite right
I'm planning to do this project next.. I have some linen fabric, do you think would work ok for the final look? Thank you very much, yourvideos are amazing.
Thank you for making this wrap skirt,i have been trying to find a clear explanation on how it is done,to no avail.... though i have a question, how did you come up with 16.3cm, as your radius?Pls,kindly respond,it will really help me to make it for myself.Your works are so neat.Thank you for sharing....😊
@@Дилайла_лала No mistake. It’s waist circumference. You will measure 11.78 units from the corner of a triangle fold. When you put the pieces together, they will make a circle with a hole with the diameter of 23.6 units (diameter = radius X 2). That hole should have a circumference of 74 units. This should match your waist circumference.
@@hotjanuary I have used Pi twice in the past 30 years. Once to calculate the number of Christmas lights needed for a Christmas tree. And again, to draft a pattern for a Halloween costume hat (Star Trek character Q).
Beautiful skirt and lovely music. I don't understand why the hem was hemmed sewing on the right side of the skirt but the open sides of the skirt were done the opposite way, sewing on the wrong side. I would rather see the hem I sew, it was amazing watching you do the long hem blind!
You need to multiply your waist size x 3.14 to get the circumference of your waist the add .5 or so for seam allowance for the band thats attached later.
Hi, I made this skirt a while back so I can try to help. She first draws the curve using radius of 16cm and then fits her waist measurement divided by 4 on said curve. If you cant fit your waist/4 on the curve then you can just add 1-2cm on the radius, redraw the curve and try fitting your waist/4 on it. Hope this helps!
There should be 4 total pieces. She cut 2 pieces for the back and 2 pieces with the add on for the fronts. I am not sure why she didn’t just use the entire folded piece for the back but it maybe it makes both the back and front pieces too wide?
hello looks very beautiful very nice please kindly film how to operate the sewing machine foot pedal how it's used to sew please ok?please kindly reply back ok?thank you very much
Ok this was 1000 times more complicated than I thought it was gonna be lol

Just finished making my own! I used 100% viscose fabric which was a bit tricky but I love how the skirt came out!
How much fabric was required???

Hi dearie
Thank you so much.
I just wanted to know the measurements for size S, M, L and if i would need to custom the weist size how should I 🤗
I am making it now 🙂🙂🙂😍😍😍😍😍
This is how we were taught in sewing class in high school . It took a long time
O boy... miss my wrap skirts.

Radius = (waist circumference) divided by ( 2 x 3.14)
Formula: circumference = 2пr
@@hotjanuary so my radius will be 74÷6.28=11.78?? But it's impossible!) I guess you ment "hips circumference" instead of waist circumference?

Большое спасибо 🥰очень красиво😍и все понятно как шить👍

What size is this if I use the measurements in the video? Which pieces/measurements would I adjust for a different sized waist or hips?

Many machines have a better looking stitch when sewn from the right side.
Ebellisima❤
Cloth konsa ly skta ess koh bnany ky liya oh konsa perfect hm
Great tutorial, not sure regarding the measurements if you are bigger size x
This is M size, add 1cm to the circle for 1 bigger size( 16cm for M, 17cm for L)
You need to multiply your waist size x 3.14 to get the circumference of your waist the add .5 or so for seam allowance for the band thats attached later.
how the waist measurements distributed to the 3-cuts of the garment/line? tnx im confused
Very therapeutic tutorial.
Wow.... Superb.... Where did you buy this fabrics
I bought it in a fabric shop in my country♥️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello! Thanks for the tutorial.
Is the measurement the same whatever the size your are ?
I’m a L, should I change the diameter?
Thanks

Muito obgdo, tenho aprendido muito com seus vídeos. Gratidão 🙏🙌🥰
Did you use two pieces of 1.5*2m fabric? I got one piece of fabric that is 1.5*2m, but seems that's only enough for the back part.
I use 1 piece, that a piece of fabric i bought before, after finishing this skirt i still have some left over, so try it again♥️

Hi, is 16cm means waist/2 ?
Good tutorial 👍 It’s better if you can mention those measurements as that instead of numbers 😊 Thank you 🙏🏻
No, it's a circle to make curved waistline❤
You are amazing. Thank you for this video. Please continue to make more different style of skirts. Maybe host an online sewing class too!
