Does anybody know what exact engine that is because it sure sounds to me like a standard kz2. It also looks pretty much the same except maybe the longer exhaust pipe

Hi Andreas. From a Norwegian petrolhead to another. I would have expected more from you,.. because you have done great things in rallycross. We need something more spectacular. But I guess a great trip and experience. But this video could have been shot by any tourist I guess,.. I did not see you on the Edge even once,.. gear ratio and carby,.. come on,.. sounds ok to me for more speed than this video was showing,.. I am pretty shure you have some more,.. so look forward to see some more serious driving. Gokart is something else than sitting safe and sound in a cage, like you normally do, right,. 😜
Yes, at the first time I thought the same thing. But then, I started to consider that go kart has no suspension, and the road is pretty damaged, even on the apex he had a lot of road debris and I also think that some guardrails had been covered with something safer than a bar of sheet. I think he had to manage a lot of things and he did pretty nice job, I felt pain and close my eyes when I saw him bouncing like that. Absolutely crazy

Why were you short shifting the kart? You were hardly even in the powerband..
jvit27 I know, but we were struggling in the beginning with the gear ration and the setting for the carburettor. So this clip was early in the driving

What you see in Verona isn't the colosseum, it is the "Arena di Verona"
I would have thought the Ferrari had no chance, since the kart and the car had similar power to weight, but the Kart had slicks that were about half as wide as the Ferrari's... but with only 1/10 of the weight. Good go-karts can easily pull 2 g's, but the Ferrari can't, especially those tight twisty bends. But I guess, uphill+sheer grunt is important.
Honfy Lam I would say the kart is at a disadvantage because of the lack of suspension. Even a fairly normal road would be bumpy in a kart
MrVoss94 true I guess. The kart was easily able to close the gap in the brakes and tight corners. But the car has more consistent grip

I don't need to go to tkart website, to know that kart destroyed this ferrari. I don't know if you fixed it later, but at arround 6:10 and further, it is clear carburation is still bad. Or you didn't push it and thats why it run rich?
Good entertainment but that's about all. A waste of time unless your on a track & you can pass. Crazy stupid on a public mountain road , even if it is in Italy!

30k would be close to its price range!! You can get a brand new 125cc 6 speed 50 to 60 hp ! very very fast for around 12k! And when i say very fast it really is extremely fast you dont need 80 hp in a kart for it to be quick!! And you dont need to spend alot!
