Hi everyone! Thank you so much for watching. Here’s a great video about how I pack my blazers without wrinkles ruclips.net/video/824LKuH1GGE/видео.html You may also like this in-depth packing video I did earlier this year about makeup, toiletries and getting everything into a small carry on ruclips.net/video/xPtMF2TTA-E/видео.html
Lovely. We always travel carry on only. I love the way you carefully put it all together & you always look so classic & lovely. I also love that you see the importance of 'fitting in'. There are so many people who travel and don't consider that.
So useful Audrey...I was literally about to start packing my suitcase for a 10-day trip when i saw your video.....backtrack...start all over again using your method. I have a feeling its going to be way more functional and effective. Thanks as always for just NEVER disappointing (no pressure LOL)
Hi Audrey...so nice to see you again. Thank you for sharing. I am 79 y.o. now, and pack fewer things. I use a 4 wheeled under seat bag, and can walk easier with it, and find it much easier to slide under the seat in front of me. Helps me to stay independent! G.
I agree with your carry on and tote travel style. I just returned from 10 days in England and last year Italy and used those two pieces. It’s entirely doable and frees you from waiting on luggage and the hassle of dragging it to the hotel
I've started applying these helpful tips to curating my general wardrobe, not just when I'm traveling. It definitely curbs my spending on clothes and prevents me from accumulating a bunch of stuff that doesn't suit my lifetsyle at all and just sits in my closet. It's difficult letting go of the fantasy person you used to buy clothes for, but very worthwhile and rewarding!
Finally, someone as detailed about what to pack as me. I mostly travel carry-on. I’m planning a 5 week trip so next year October, and I’ve been checking the weather for my destinations. I like thin pullovers with interesting necklines. I always carry a silk thermal and thin wool sweater to layer. Funny, I do all the prep, and when it’s time to pack, I procrastinate. 🤦🏾♀️
D. Conrad hi! They’re the regular sized carry on from away (not the larger carry on) and the everywhere bag from away ❤️ They were gifted to me last year but I accepted them because I was already going to buy them myself and they’re honestly amazing
It's worth mentioning, try every single outfit on. We just went to Ireland and 60% of the items I thought would look great together did not so I was so glad I tried everything on. Mercí Audrey!
I took one carry on and one personal bag for 14 days in France (3 areas) and Monte Carlo. My philosophy of travel wardrobes is similar to yours. It really works and helps to make the trip more carefree. Vive la France!
I love that we can see you truly are a planner... not just for your RUclips operations... but in your everyday life... I think that’s why your content speaks to me. I mean, the fact that you planned to release this video ‘after’ your return...Seeing the packing methodology applied on-site in France really elevated the information! #nailedit - it seems like you let your life inspire your content in a way that is organic and not forced. Keep taking us on this journey Audrey... enjoy the weekend!
Don’t forget sneakers! I just got back from Bordeaux and Paris and we did A LOT of walking. We were clocking in on average 18,000 steps per day. Parisians absolutely wear sneakers…I saw a lot of locals wearing Vans, Nikes and Converses…plus lots of Birkenstocks. Adorable outfits then a fun pair of sneakers. Whenever we saw anyone a little dressed up and site seeing we knew they were tourists. Lol
Your tips are spot-on. I always build around navy and black basics, and can always pack for two weeks in France with one carry-on and one personal bag. Basic, solid outfits can always be dressed up with jewelry and scarves. My only challenge every time seems to be shoes. The older I get, the more I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable enough for all the walking we do, and look nice with my outfit, not like gym shoes. Any suggestions, please?
lately your audio choices are so comforting and calm, just like how you embody yourself ♥ i can relate so much with outfit planning according to weather and activities. can't just put anything into the bag mindlessly, but i must say almost every piece you packed GOES WITH EVERYTHING! with laundry this can be for even 1month of autumn traveling and you'll always look put together audrey. great job!
How much walking can you do in the cap toe slingbacks, if you head from sightseeing to dinner? I'm interested in how to reduce the amount of footwear. Really admire the travel wardrobe you put together here. Also, if you're looking for video ideas: I remember a really cool video you made about scarves...how about one for other accessories? Esp. selecting and sourcing long term luggage, handbags, eyewear, hats, belts.
I have v sensitive skin, so I have a good small set in case my skin flares up. Though as a souvenir for myself, friends and family, I love buying skincare and makeup!
I check webcams in the areas I’m going to visit at various times of the day. That way you can really see what people are wearing like coats, jumpers or T-shirt’s, shorts and light items etc. I think it is a great indication of what the weather is like.
Thank you for the packing tips. I used to use a carry-on like yours in the video, but another tip , I have learned that a soft one helps me add all the souvenirs easier as I travel. I also bring along a grocery type reuseable bag (mine currently is from Madrid- anything pretty with a squared bottom) and lay flat on the bottom of my carryon . As I gather my treasures, I place them in my bag. On my return trip home, I can then take them on the plane with me as souvenirs.
I enjoy your videos! One thing I do is after a trip, I go back to my packing list and comment on what worked, what didn’t and what I forgot or didn’t wear or need. It is really helpful for future travel, and to hone those travel skills.
A timely video as I just booked a 10-day cruise to Alaska next May. Touring will require comfy footwear and the ship will require an upscale casual wardrobe. I have time to go through my closet to see what I have and what I will need to purchase. Thank you!
When I discovered your channel I felt like I met a new friend. I told my sister she must watch your channel. I travel to nyc a lot and my host kind of gasped when she how light I packed 🌿 side note my avatar picture has a tiny story, because I use the same method when traveling. Something spilled on some clothing I had to just thought outside the box and I hope nobody knew I was switching around one basic outfit .
Very useful video, thank you Audrey, I am leaving for Barcelona in a few days and you gave me some great ideas for planning my outfits! I always enjoy your videos!! Also lovely music choice!
It’s not the clothes I have to pack when I travel, but the toiletries, which practically take an entire suitcase all on their own. Plus the hair straighteners (essential in my case, believe me) electrical chargers, medicines (lots of medicines). Just the thought of it all brings on a cold sweat .... ! And I have to travel regularly, to visit my grandchildren.
Thank you for sharing these great tips for packing a carry on, it makes things more simple and less stressful than packing too much. The choices were well thought out and very chic. Because of you and your thoughtful advice as always, I know that I will be more than prepared for my trip to France one day. I love the background music you used for this video and admire the clips of your time in France. Merci 🗼
Hey! Can you make similar video about traveling to Europe when it’s super cold and rainy? I’m really struggling to fit everything in a cary one and would love to have some inspiration and ideas from you ❤️❤️
Hi! I shared my travel capsule last year from London in October and it was rainy and cold. I also recommend packing thermal under layers like heat tech shirts. They’re super lightweight and keep you sooo warm 🤗
Your video popped up in my feed 4 years after the fact. So, it's April 2024. And funny thing. I'm going to Paris and Aix-en-Provence in a couple of weeks! I think you give excellent pointers, which I'll follow as best I can. I mean, my wardrobe is not as chic as yours. But I do have a color palette that should work. And I'll definitely start following the weather in both places. Thanks for the video.
Love this! I’m going on a trip to South East Asia soon, so totally different clothing - but your tips at the beginning were so helpful, especially to jot out the activities for each day!
I recently did 10 days in England; six days in the Yorkshire dales/moors, and three days in Liverpool. I packed a 12-item wardrobe that had to include warm and waterproof clothes and footwear. Unfortunately, I couldn't pack it in a carry-on suitcase, but I have downsized from the suitcase that I usually use. I wore every single piece, and all of the new purchases (mostly the stuff for inclement weather) was an excellent purchase, especially the cashmere pullover sweater. Lightweight and warm. My color palette was black, blue, grey, soft camel, and white.
Audrey, it's like you can read my mind lol. I'm going to Europe next summer (work/visiting friends) for a few weeks and this is the EXACT video I needed from you. Thank you!!!
Hi Audrey...yes. I currently live in Australia and travel back to San Diego every other year with only a carryon. I stay for one to four months bringing only a carryon. The thrift stores there and goodwill are wonderful, and I get all I need there, then give away what I don't want at the end of my journey. I never have to stand in checkout lines💖
Well thought out and concise video. Love it. I was just in Nice, Paris and Normandy in August. Very different weather in each. On the beach in Nice, then wearing jackets and rain gear in Normandy (mostly at night). So checking the weather was a must for packing. Sticking to one color palette is a great idea! Wish I had done that. There were some blouses and skirts I could only wear once and not really mix or match. I’m a perpetual over-packer. And my hubby always gently reminds me as I’m packing! Thanks for the insights.
You are lovely and always provide excellent advice and tips. I swear by a color palette. For my recent trip to Europe, I packed black, tan, cream and some animal prints for pop. The only thing I would add is picking the right footwear is critical. Those brick and cobblestone streets can be brutal, but I don’t feel “well dressed” in sneakers. I swear by a pair of Chelsea style boots or low heeled booties with cushion that I can sight see in all day and wear to dinner at night. I absolutely love your style, content, and delivery and I look forward to your videos. TFS!
Girl, you got it goin' on! I just bought another pair of the cap toes. They are never going to go "out". You inspire me to pair down my wardrobe. I don't think I could get a week's worth of clothes in a carry-on since my toiletries bag takes up half of it (I need to pair down my makeup too!) but I can sure try! Thank you.
Hi, Audrey, I've just came from discovering your channel, and I am enchainted with you. You are such a darling ! I came to meet you in the exact moment I've decided to turn my wardrobe, and everything else possible in my life, in a minimalist way. Well, very nice to meet and to find you, thanks for the help so far !
Helpful..we’re going to Hawaii for 11 days soon so I used these tips for my pre planning. My color palette is white, navy, tan, light blue and orange/coral for a pop. I’ll be wearing an orange maxi dress for a luau on my 50th birthday.. so fun! Even my luggage coordinates. It is so much easier to stick to 3 or 4 colors. Or in my case, 5. Lol I love variety at heart and Hawaii is quite colorful 🌺
Thank you so much for the tips! I’ll be traveling soon and loved the ideas of finding their “dress code” and having a color palette! This will help me a ton!
Pretty close to Parisian style from what I've seen! I just happen to love more colors in my outfits for pictures but this is right up my alley :) You also have such a sweet and soothing voice!
Excellent... really enjoyed that! But I had to laugh when you mentioned checking the weather forecast... as here in Ireland it's a COMPLETE waste of time!!
Dear Audrey, I am late to the party having just discovered your channel in search of packing ideas for a 9-day trip I will be taking to London and Paris at the end of April. I am a chronic over packer (though I am getting better) and am struggling to edit SIGNIFICANTLY my wardrobe so that my bedroom and closets don't look like scenes out of "Hoarders." (Only mildly kidding here!) I am very much looking forward to watching some of your other videos, which I know will be very helpful in both efforts.
Every time I see your square neck blue floral top I think of a porcelain tea cup. In my modest opinion that is the best and most unique top to bring to Paris. The stripes are a cliche but the porcelain top is so Versailles xxx
Beautiful travel wardrobe! My next international trip will be October 2020, so I have a lot of time to prepare. In the past I have always checked a big suitcase, and I brought way too much in general. For my upcoming trip to Germany I plan to only take carry on luggage. I know it can be done, in my case even more so, because I will be staying at my sister's apartment. thanks for the inspiration!

You may like my how to pack light for a long trip video that I posted earlier this summer. I go into a lot of detail on the how in that video ❤️
Same!!
Hi Audrey, do you use the away carryon or the bigger carryon? Love your videos so much!
And the weight too
Does not look like an American in Paris, but like a Parisian. Well done!
Your style is so easy going but chic at the same time. Great pairing of basic essentials for such a classic look💋💋💋
You're such a doll. Could you do a closet tour? I'd love to see how you organize everything.
Lovely. We always travel carry on only. I love the way you carefully put it all together & you always look so classic & lovely. I also love that you see the importance of 'fitting in'. There are so many people who travel and don't consider that.

I am amazed that you were able to pack those blazers neatly.
My partner puts all his blazers in one coat bag, so it's thick enough. Then puts that bag in the luggage, and folds it in half. That way, no creases.
Hi Audrey...so nice to see you again. Thank you for sharing. I am 79 y.o. now, and pack fewer things. I use a 4 wheeled under seat bag, and can walk easier with it, and find it much easier to slide under the seat in front of me. Helps me to stay independent! G.

Hi Audrey,
Love how relaxed your voice is, so soothing plus I absolutely love the music in this video. What piece of music is this please?
Had the same question, but with the help of SoundHound here it is :)
Peter Sandberg - Remove the Complexities

Gintare Krucinskaite oh great thanks - I hadn’t heard of sound hound 😘
I especially enjoy watching her videos for that reason! 😁❤️

Beautiful. You are such a cutie (said in the most elegant tone). Just love your videos. Really liked the piano music too.
Audrey, what suitcase and personal carry-on bag are those please? I love them both!
D. Conrad hi! They’re the regular sized carry on from away (not the larger carry on) and the everywhere bag from away ❤️ They were gifted to me last year but I accepted them because I was already going to buy them myself and they’re honestly amazing

We’re traveling from NY to your town, Charleston in February, and I’m already planning to enjoy a lighter wardrobe down there. Cannot wait🥰
I took one carry on and one personal bag for 14 days in France (3 areas) and Monte Carlo. My philosophy of travel wardrobes is similar to yours. It really works and helps to make the trip more carefree. Vive la France!

Ok this is probably faith, I'm going to France Toulouse the next Tuesday, so excited 😍😍

Her style of speaking make me watch these videos even without much utility for me.
Just love her way of connecting with the audience!
Everything looks so chic and elegant! Thank you for the tips! 💕

Beautiful video! I'm more "boho/rock n roll", but all of this still applies wonderfully! Love the tips and j'adore the music. Thank you!
I love these tips, from someone who is a little disorganized - they are very helpful!
Love this! Very informative. Thank you.
Classy, understated elegance and useful information ~ that's why I love your channel, Audrey!
So peaceful and articulate...thanks for all of your videos, Audrey, new and not so new.
Thank you Audrey for a packing video, they are my personal favourite videos you make. Beautifully crafted and explained.
I love the Thursday's Boots. My daughter bought a pair, same color you have and she loves them. I am thinking of purchasing a pair also.
I am glad that you are including some Massimo Dutti pieces in your wardrobe. Massimo Dutti is probably my favorite store.

If I’m going to Paris, I never bring toiletries for home because I trying out new french pharmacy brands.
Great idea!
I like your idea!

Looove to pack light! Always look to optimize my luggage…. Hate to carry heavy luggages around. Thank you Audrey.
I love this! Yes, I used this method for packing a carry on on my trip to Paris and two other cities in Europe during the summer.
Thank you for the packing tips. I used to use a carry-on like yours in the video, but another tip , I have learned that a soft one helps me add all the souvenirs easier as I travel. I clicked on this so fast! Lol... thank you for taking the time to share! I just love your channel!
I agree with your wanting to get dressed in the morning and not have to change for later on. 😁
My mother and I went to Europe for 3cweeks together years ago, and she gave me all the same advice, right down to the all-important color palette!
I enjoy your videos! One thing I do is after a trip, I go back to my packing list and comment on what worked, what didn’t and what I forgot or didn’t wear or need. It is really helpful for future travel, and to hone those travel skills.
I love packing light. I now only travel with a carry on and a personal item. I’ll go on a 3 week vacay in Europe with just that.
A timely video as I just booked a 10-day cruise to Alaska next May. Touring will require comfy footwear and the ship will require an upscale casual wardrobe. I have time to go through my closet to see what I have and what I will need to purchase. Thank you!

I am so glad I found you. You have made packing an art form and I'm here for it.
😊 ❤️
Thank you for sharing your tips. Each outfit you styled was so elegant and beautiful.
I recently did 10 days in England; six days in the Yorkshire dales/moors, and three days in Liverpool. I packed a 12-item wardrobe that had to include warm and waterproof clothes and footwear. Timeless beauty! I absolutely love Paris! Thank you Audrey!
Great tips no matter where one might travel!
I do this exact same routine. One addition, think about how your outfits will look in photos at each location.
Such a coincidence, I’m going to paris and rome next Wednesday. It’s like you made this video for me.
Well thought out and concise video. Love it. I was just in Nice, Paris and Normandy in August. Very different weather in each. Beautiful and elegant, Audrey! Je suis ravie! Love from Germany
Haha, I never thought of changing my clothes to adapt to people of a specific city. The variety of different people makes a city interesting, too.
Very helpful video. Wonderful style. Absolutely loved the travel outfit. Now rethinking travel packing. Thank you.
4:09 KITTY ALERT!🐱🐱😄😂
Haha so much drama bathing 😂❤️
KIM JOHNSON yes I saw that elegant tail glide by😺
Helpful..we’re going to Hawaii for 11 days soon so I used these tips for my pre planning. This was perfect timing !
You're such an inspiration to me 💕🌹
I'm going to paris in September. Thanks for the advice!
Audrey you are incredibly lucky to be able to travel so much!
Two things: a video on sleepwear!
And another on pet hair!
Love your blouse, it's perfect.
You are such a pleasure to watch! Great tips and yes I travel light always!! xoxo
Excellent... really enjoyed that! But I had to laugh when you mentioned checking the weather forecast... as here in Ireland it's a COMPLETE waste of time!!
Yes! So many people who do these videos plan an outfit change for dinner which isn’t really practical if you have a full day
Fantastic vlog as usual. The boots what you bought in France look lovely. You are such a talented women.
Such a great video! ❤️. You’ve taught me so much about preparing and packing! Thank you!
I love it! All the outfits look so elegant and chic! Thanks for the useful tips!
Lovely outfits. So chic and well planned x

Love the idea of a capsule traveling wardrobe, and will definitely use your list!! Also - love the appearance of your black cat, lol!
Love all of the outfits! Very classy!
Yes, traveling light is the way to go! I never check luggage.
thankyou so much for sharing this I,m heading to paris next july for my 60th birthday I will be using your method !!!
same here! I also like to travel with just my carry-on. last time I packed everything in a carry-on for 14 days in Portugal:D
Beautiful travel wardrobe! My next international trip will be October 2020, so I have a lot of time to prepare.
