My older brother Michael took me to see my very first Broadway show which was "Minnies Boys" when I was a kid and I've been a fan of theirs ever since. Actually I was a fan of theirs before my brother took me to see "Minnies Boys" that's why he took me to see the show lol.
Sadly the late great Groucho Marx impressionist Mr Frank Ferrante (see 5.09) passed away at his Manhatten home on 17 April 2024. Mr Ferrante aged 80, was a former Vietnam Veteran and successful film and television producer. May he rest in peace.
I actually met Frank Ferrente a few years ago when he was performing his Groucho one man show. He was gracious and a class act!
The picture at 3:26 is from 1918, it's the picture on the front of a sheet music for . It shows Harpo, Groucho, Chico and Gummo.
It don't get any better than Margret Dumont and the Marx Brothers.
Grouch was terrific in his replies in every movie and on the quiz show he was the best.
