“My mom was in and out of prison and I was tossed around a lot but I’d didn’t have a bad childhood”. I’m praying for you to access your trauma and let it go. Do not minimize your history. It just keeps it stuck. Xxx. Sending prayers

I’m always left sort of bewildered when in an interview they say they didn’t have a bad childhood. Then go on to say this or that happened.

@@ericfranklin2575 you completely missed the point. OP is saying how people say they didn’t have a bad childhood, but then go on to say things like her mom was in and out of prison and she was tossed back and forth and her mom was an addict etc, or I’ve heard people say they didn’t have a bad childhood but then go on to say they were abused or SA’d etc etc. Those are traumatic things. But they don’t see it.

I was this girl , 30 years of using and trying on my own power to get it right , I would have done anything for any drug and alcohol. I had a psychic change after a strong appeal to Jesus, I've been without the obsession since 8.12. 22, Glory be to God! Carrie, I didn't trust anyone, I didn't believe in anything here on Earth, I'd asked God numerous times to " Help me " I never knew what love was or meant, I do today, I am free.... She was tossed back and forth and all over the place- no abuse, not a bad childhood, yet didn’t feel she was wanted anywhere. This is the trend I am seeing with so many millennial parents now with divorced blended families who toss their kids all over the place. Her story broke my heart, because it is just this simple for parents to bring their kids down a bad path. She deserved to feel wanted. I am glad her babies hopefully have loving parents who very much wanted their kids, so there is a blessing out of her shocking vulnerable admission she took money to feed her addiction- this is why they call it addiction! I hope she can recover because she is so young and can still have her second life. God loves her the same as all His children. 🙏

the apostle Paul was murdering Christians and then he was hit with the light of truth and realized who he was. I used to help the devil beat me up with self-judgment. Paul said he did not even judge himself because he knew if he did, he would get frozen in those moments he judged and not be able to move forward. As he was led by God, he wrote 1/3 of the bible. When I counsel myself, I talk to myself like a vulnerable child and carefully apply love that helps me overcome my pain. I ask God to lead me and show me things and help me overcome. God is perfect love, and he is trying to help us receive his love so we can be in relationship and have his JOY. You can't disappoint God; he already knew every moment of your life before he formed you in your mother's womb. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you, he doesn't force himself on us, he knocks and hopes we invite him in.
