@NANA-v7w5n indeed. I find that both sides win with such regular updates as these. The uninformed are now informed, and those who wish to remain informed get what they need. While these conflicts are all tragic and it does feel sometimes like the world is actively burning, I believe it's our civic duty to at least have a basic knowledge of current events so that our voice -- and our vote -- carries better weight.

Because the outcome has no effect or relevance outside of the region it’s taking place. Sudan and Myanmar could literally disappear tomorrow and just be a completely flat surface with no people like out of a movie and nothing would really change for anyone else anywhere in the world. Sudan doesn’t really have an economy, pretty much nothing happens there, and Myanmar’s economy revolves almost entirely around the drug trade.

I think this would make a great quarterly review for summing up everything that is or has been going on, for those that might have missed a situation room.

I liked this roundup of all the issues. I would say you guys should do this quarterly, as a kind of semi-regular update

This should be an episode that gets released once a year! Released on the same day every year. We can see how the world has changed, if it's more peaceful, more violent, etc.

as mentioned by @CombatRing, I think a monthly edition would be verry nice to stay up to date and compare over time. I hope you do more.

As someone who has to cover these topics for work, Simon makes a great effort to provide as objective of an analysis as there is out there. one thing I would request is timestamps on the videos. otherwise keep up the great work !

Constructive suggestion. I would appreciate it if you linked your other videos on each specific topic you refer to in these videos for those who would like to go deeper into these complicated topics. Great video concept by the way.

It's possible, _possible_ mind, that the real purpose of the Kursk offensive was getting access to the Russian railway network control system. The one really big Ukranian strike on a Russian ammo depo last week was so large because they caught a train in the middle of unloading. If Ukraine got access to Russian rail scheduling in Kursk, the timing of that strike might have been deliberate.
We won't know for sure unless it happens a couple more times.

I think one of those rail schedule nodes was in Sudzha unless I am mistaken because of one of the control nodes for natural gas to Southern Europe being co located with it.

Great episode I enjoyed the format of having civil snapshots of key events that happening although I also like the episodic longform nature dedicated to a single event that is happening Either episode format is fine with me. Thank you for always providing interesting and informative content.
