    Sir you are a great inspiration to me. You are giving this much time to prepare videos to help us with our exams. This is commendable sir. I am from Andhra Pradesh and some of my friends don't even understand Hindi but still they watched your videos and understood the concept so well. You are helping so many engineers from India. Here in engineering, we are running behind companies and through the process we are lagging behind in some concepts which are much essential. Thank you so much sir.... 😊😊

    Hello sir, had a question regarding the ring topology: when the ring is broken at one point, the network will be similar as a bus topology but with no terminators. The latter is basically used to prevent signal reflections. My question is IF the above is true, then why would the ring network fail altogether ?

    Q. A research centre building consists of 23 rooms in which 18 are labs and each lab is equipped with a high computational power computer and all of them are connected to two server rooms works in parallel whose purpose is to merge the computational data and multiplexed it, it also acts as pivot point for sharing information between labs. CEO has most powerfut computer and can access directly to any computer from his room.he should be provided with bandwidth of 1000mb/s and rest of the computers can work on 200 mb/s except server room which has to work with a high speed so band width should be more than 1000mb/s.design a topology and keep in mind that server room should get data with light speed and CEO should get a faster connection as compared to labs..
    Sir plllzzzzzz guide me in this regard....

    Sir,how is the hub topology point to point communication? Do we need additional software for it,how can it be achieved?

    • @amberchawla7930
      @amberchawla7930 3 года назад

      friend i think you mean mesh topology, which is point to point because you have dedicated wire links b/w each node, thus a wire between node 1 and node 4 will only carry data of node 4 to 1 or 1 to 4 (thus point to point). about additional software , i don't think it is needed , hub redirects it or we could actually use a multiplexer for a small scale network.

    • @gateaspirant6111
      @gateaspirant6111 2 года назад

      @@amberchawla7930 In the video it is mentioned that hub generally broadcasts the data. If that's the case how is it point to point communication ? If point to point communication can be achieved using mux/demux, it means security is high which is contrary to the explanation in the video

  • @vivekkumar-pg6mo

    If Ring and Bus topology works in the same way, what is the point of making ring topology?
    As per my experience the ring topology will work even after a single failure and it works bidirectionally.
    Also, No. of ports in ring topology will be 2 ports on each device.
    Please Correct me if i am wrong.
