glad to see that your still checking the comments! but i have a question, i have recently been trying to breed ophiuchus using the monsters that the game said to use when i click on him and the heart but i have been trying for a few days but cant get him, is he only breedable during an event, unbreedable or am i just unlucky? I have also looked up some tutorials but most of them say they got him from an event, so im kinda stuck.
Thank you! For your question, He is breedable in game with evaranae and dragonian beast. It is always available and not any time limited event. If you are not getting ophiuchus it probably just means you are unlucky . Maybe just keep trying until it works out

I recommend you starting out with dragonian beast OR Primgenus since both are the same typing, and also since you are starting out I recommend getting a good breedable epic such as drop elemental and scorpegh. Never go for rhynex or rabidex they are one of the worst epics. And once you’ve gotten your first legendary which most people get by beating monster dungeons you can start working on that.
They are breedable! You can get them if you go to the monstagram, filter out by epic rarity and type and click on the little heart emoji. It shows you the monsters you require to breed it
Yea for epic standards, he is still really good. If you don't have any good legendaries or mythics and are just starting out, you can definitely use it

what would be the best epic starting team and what monsters should i progress to?

Bonnie bark , noahrin , Primgenus, drop elemental, dragonian beast , cybele and freeza are all good epics

For good epic attackers, probably kaori, noahrin, francis rock and haku
Is there any good epic support or tank?
No tanks really. For supports, drop elemental probably the best support but if you don’t have that just use neriedia
wheres salamander?
He's definitely above average, but not as good as these 5
