Pierluigi Collina best referee ever. Most respected by everyone said Michael Oliver's decision of giving Trossard a red card sheer stupidity.
Its absolute nonsense . There is no evidence of that at all. There are a few RUclips videos with that headline and they show a picture of Colinna and some dip stick quoting Colima but he is not to be heard at all. One video has an interview with no sound . There is no evidence Colina said that at all . If you have , have the balls to post an interview in Italian or whatever language that proves he actually said it .

Last season when Micheal Oliver failed to send off Kovacic for two clear yellows card offenses…. the “Chief Refereeing Officer” for the PGMOL Howard Webb came out and said the reason Kovacic wasn’t sent off was because Micheal Oliver didn’t want to ruin the biggest game of the season by sending off the player.
Now can someone please explain to me why less than a year later Micheal Oliver thought sending off Trossard for something less sinister than Kovacic’s two yellow card offences wouldn’t also ruined the biggest game of the season?

The only time wasting was Raya. The other cramp incidents are warranted. There wasn’t 7 minutes worth of time wasting. The goal was scored closer to the 98th minute. It’s a harsh reality of the modern game. 6 minutes of added time in the first half. 14 additional minutes of play from where. I was watching a Duncan Edwards documentary the other day and players used to do all they could to stay on their feet. Only two players booked for delaying a restart, out of all the PL games played this season. There is no letter of the law, there is just one rule for Arsenal doing this, and one rule for every other team in the Premier League. There have been lots and lots of instances with other players delaying the restart and not one other booking.
Just apply the rules the same way for every side.

Blowing the whistle when a player is in his kicking stride is completely different to a player having multiple seconds to react to the whistle. Arsenal are the only team that have to play a premier league match walking on eggshells. No common sense, no context, no leeway. And btw this clampdown on delaying the restart is a load of BS, was a non issue before and the blatant examples were punished every time. Just another ‘look at me’ initiative from the Pgmol.
