- Welcome everyone to another baseball card box opening. Today we have the 3rd edition of the Just the 70s box from Repacked Wax. This was a 143.99 dollars on their site, limited to 100 boxes and contains cards from all of the Topps sets from the 70s plus potential 77 cloth stickers and 1979 Kellogg's cards. The break down of complete sets used for this edition is as follows: 1 set of 1970, 1971 and 1972 Topps, 2 Sets of 1973, 1974, 1975 and 1976 and 3 sets each of 1977, 1978 and 1979 Topps. All the cards from the sets are used so there's some great potential to pull some big cards from then. Check it out and let me know what you thought of the product and how we did with our box. Dude you just pulled probably the biggest RC of the 70's in excellent condition! Where are the fireworks! That was a very nice box. Nice Hank Aaron and the sweet rookie cup Bird rookie. That Count Montefusco cloth card was pretty cool as well. Awesome box Lance 👊⚾

Mike was my favorite growing up.. Nice box super fun and a nice hank Aaron.. Love seeing the older cards I have a box of old football bad condition I played with them as a kid I recently went through and took all the older ones out had some 60s sold a lot on ebay about a year ago.. I forgot to send you some I will need to show some in a upcoming video . Thanks for sharing Lance and Pura Vida man

Hey Lance, i love the 72 Rollie Fingers and Ted Williams ( i didn't now he was also the Rangers manager ! ) , i like too this Gil Hodges card as the Mets manager. Sweet Aaron Hank, Jim Palmer and Manny Sanguillen cards too. Love too this dual Nolan Ryan and Tom Seaver card. Thoses 70's cards are in pretty good shape ! Thanks for sharing and Happy Collecting.
Nice Mike Schmidt and Ron Cey RC! That has to be the big one there! Also really like the 72 Rollie Fingers. Great looking card to me! 1973 Hank Aaron. nice one! You actually pulled some nice stars and a few HOFers in there. "The Bird" Mark Fidrych has to be my favorite! Always enjoy and thanks for sharing with us!

Those are fun boxes to break, the Schmidt RC paid for the box sweet card congrats! The 72 Fingers looks to be really sharp, overall you pulled some really nice cards. You pulled Bill Madlock's RC and second-year card for a guy that won 4 batting titles he does not get enough love.

I got 2nd edition boxes, and they were 124.99. Damn prices are getting crazy!
Wow really nice box. Got me envious of that Mike Schmidt RC pull!!! Cool Bill Madlock rookie, he was a good player. And def some nice Hall of Famers, but that Mike Schmidt!!! Def got your money’s worth for sure.

At $149 from what I've researched on what these sell for, it's not about making money unless you get REALLY lucky and have a Gem Mint card, I understand it's just the thrill of playing, like the lottery. The Schmidt card was unexpected I'm sure. Those who repackage these cards have it down to a science. It'll be a break even on a monetary level
How were you not more excited about the Schmidt rookie? That’s probably the second-best card (maybe third) you could possibly pull from the box! I said “wow!!” out loud and I was only watching. 😂
I was thinking that later too. I agree that's one of the best cards you can pull. I think I was just really hoping to find either the 71 Ryan or Munson and had already seen the Schmidt rookie pulled. I can't believe you got the Schmidt rookie! You didn't seem that excited about it though........ I got a Robin Yount rookie in mine, plus a '72 Clemente, and a '73 Babe Ruth RBI Leader card, but that's it.
Yeah, I definitely should have been more excited. I think I was just surprised plus my dream cards out of her would have been the 71 Ryan or Munson or maybe the Brett rookie. The Schmidt is definitely one of the best cards from the 70s though. It sounds like you had a decent box too. I'm guessing the Yount was nice, the 75 sets he found seemed to be in great shape. @@oldnewrips No, unfortunately the Yount isn't gradable, well maybe enough for a 2 or 3. The bottom and bottom corners have very noticeable wear, it's not terrible though. But my Clemente could honestly get a 6 or 7! I found a Brett rookie a few years ago for $25 (before the prices skyrocketed).
I would love a Munson rookie! Or any Ryan Mets card (my earliest is '72). I'm sure he put them in there somewhere......
Well I bought the 70s box for myself (sorry I don't have videos), but I also ordered a regular 36-pack box which is my Christmas present, 25 more days........ Hopefully a great rookie or two with all the junk, lol. Thank you. That Schmidt rookie is awesome!

I think topps struck out with the 2019-2022 heritage cards. I think vintage cards should be totally vintage and today's cards should look like the modern era
