I built a 400 for my '68 and I could spin those hubcaps off at will !! I reached the point I couldn't find anymore so I sprung for a set of Cragars !! LOL !! What a FUN car that was !!
We had a '68 Le Mans and drove it until 1992. Had the 350 2bbl, 2 speed Auto, A/C, tilt, AM Radio, rally gauges, headrests, console, bucket seats, power steering, green with gold vinyl top. I tried to get my dad to opt for the front power disc brakes, but he just wouldn't do it, and it wasn't an expensive option, either. After we got the car, he realized just how bad those 4 corner drums were. They'd stop the car, but the fade was terrible, really had to feather them. Other than that, this was a fun car.
