Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, while hearing a batch of petitions regarding the re-examination of NEET-UG 2024, remarked that the leak of the question paper is an "admitted fact." He stated that before deciding to hold a re-examination, "we must be conscious of the extent of the leak as we are dealing with 23 lakh students." The court stated that the matter will be decided on the basis of three parameters. "Whether a retest should be conducted is based on settled parameters: the court has to see whether the alleged breach took place at a systemic level, whether the breach is of a nature that affects the integrity of the entire exam process, and whether it is possible to segregate the beneficiaries of the fraud from the untainted students," the court noted. Alakh Pandey said he is very satisfied with the Apex Court's action. The court will determine on Thursday whether the paper leak was a systemic failure or not. However, he highlighted that the Supreme Court is listening to all the concerns of the students and will then give a final judgment. Listen in.

there is absolutely no need to conduct RE-NEET for entire 24 lakhs students. It is logical to conduct RE-NEET only for those qualified NEET i.e. 13 lakhs only.

I agree, my opinion would be hated but it is truth. Many students who are saying re neet are the ones who didnt even score 50% (360) with which you wouldn't get anything special. The top students who are 450+ should be eligible for reneet as they are smart and can revive their momentum of previous years and 450 is the marks boundary where you get some good colleges. it would be a waste of time and money if dumb students give re neet as they will score less again right?

A lot of people are saying students in the south wrote the exam quite honestly, but I would like to point out the fact that there was a question paper discrepancy that happened in Thootukudi, Tamil Nadu
Reneet should be there only in the effected states. There should be no reneet in other states. No reneet to all.

Only for this year, every medical college needs to take their own 1 hour subjective conceptual admission test i,e no MCQ. AIIMS needs to take this test for those who got more than 700 marks out of 720. If it were conceptual test, fake toppers would be caught.

My humble request to SC consider point for issuing verdict like conduct RENEET to those students who want it, not for all students; this will satisfy both demands / petitions of (“No RENEET” & “RENEET”) from students; In Laws perspective, not even single innocent must be punished although few criminals (unknown) may escape. Law’s prime importance / priority are to protect innocent students first. And then, 2nd Priority is to punish those known criminals with severely such that no such events should occur anymore. 3rd priority is to formalize / regularize NEET exam with minimum entry level (minimum % of marks from school final exams) to appear in NEET exam. This will filter out drastically number of candidates appearing in NEET Exams, then two stage (written & final online) exams to minimize or nullify such malpractice in future. Please like & populate this information for fair & meaningful justice.
Students who cheated will never want Reneet.Then whats the point of conducting reneet.

Can anyone or any entity give guarantee for “questions paper leak will not happen again” if RENEET conducted now or in future NEETs, Law should consider & order for entire revamping NEET conduction system. Prestigious & Lifesaving Medical system should not be decided just in one GO exam. First, exam entry level must be restricted with minimum % of marks from school final exams to appear in NEET exam. This will filter out drastically number of candidates appearing in NEET Exams (by this way millions of people time, money, efforts and few life will be safe) then two stage (written & final online) exams to minimize or nullify such malpractice in future. In final stage the number of candidates for final exam will be less, may be 2 or 3 fold of total seats requirement, in this situation, the control, sanity and result of exam will be perfect.
instead of doing all this, they can just conduct it online like JEE
@@seele7561 Conducting online exam for 24 lakhs student in one time is not possible, there will be lot of issue will arise and technical problems will heads ups, so the idea is to sort out the candidates, bring down the total students to 2 or 3 fold of total seats requirement, then conduct final exam.

Conduct examination for the top 4lac students only with stringent controls. People who have cheated and qualified will be immediately filtered out. If the above is not possible at least conduct stringent interviews of all the currently qualifying students before giving admission. Students who have cheated and passed will automatically be shown up.
