Ich bin gerade wirklich positiv überrascht von dem 53er Sound. Top Video, wie immer!
Waren wir auch...klingt in natura schön nach 6-Zylinder und die Bangs sind schön variabel👌

I thought it was a V6 I never knew that Mercedes uses inline 6 engines. It sounds good for a inline 6. Good video automann.
They reintroduced I6s in 2018 with the OM656 diesel and M256 petrol. The V6 M276 sounds a lot better but probably not as smooth.

The 300sl also had an inline 6. in the older gen cars they were pretty common

Das ist mein ehemaliges Auto. Hab mir letzten Freitag den neuen GLE geholt. Glaub mir der 4liter v8 hört sich nicht so gut an wie der reihen 6 mit AMG auspuff. Du merkst einfach den biturbo.
@@Baalenciaga666 biturbo hat auch der 500er. Ein absoluter Traummotor, den man auch recht sparsam fahren kann. Dazu noch die endgeile Shooting Brake Form 🤩👌🏼.
@@ShootingBraker Die Limousine/Coupé Version des CLS ist besser für mich. Ich mag weder CLA noch CLS Shooting Brake nicht. In meiner Meinung wenn man einen Kombi haben will dann kann man sich einen E oder C Klasse kaufen.

Ich habe mal eine Frage zu dem Sprit der im Tank war.
Ich habe bei meinem GLE 53 bis jetzt immer nur Aral Ultimate mit 102 Oktan getankt.
Bei rauf schalten macht er zwar ein leichtes Knallen aber wenn man das Gas loslässt passiert nichts.
Ich habe auch den performance exhaust.
War bei dem Videodreh vielleicht 95 Oktan Kraftstoff im Tank?
Moin. Das sollte nichts mit dem Sprit zu tun haben, der fährt 95-100 Oktan. Das Knallen kommt nur wenn man im Sport+ Modus ist und dann im Schubbetrieb so runterschaltet, dass die Drehzahl bei ca. 4.000 landet.
à propos: Beim Audi RS3 (OPF 2020 Modell) kann man solch eine Fehlzündung ebenfalls in der manuellen Gasse provozieren, indem man zwischen 2.800 und 3.200 x min-1 mit etwas Zwischengas runterschaltet, und zwar unabhängig von der Spritsorte (bis jetzt hat es sowohl mit E5 als auch mit E10 geklappt)
Okay Dankeschön dann werde ich das nochmal probieren. Ich habe noch ein komplett gemachten Corsa Opc als Tracktool mit knapp 400Ps und bei den hängt das knallen extrem von der Kraftstoffsorte ab.

I’m also curious. I just got rid of my 2022 and on the specs it does not list a performance exhaust. The new one I ordered, I upgraded to the performance exhaust.

It’s limited but I guess that has nothing to do with the brands but with the regulations. A soft limiter at standstill usually means that they try get through with a louder exhaust system like on an R8 or on some BMW M

As someone who owns a 2018 C43, these new models are so muted compared to that model year I have before regulations forced car makers to change the decibels on cars

I am taking delivery of a custom made GLE53 in a month or so because I needed a bigger car but k m going to miss the C43 so much because of its sound and aggression compared to the newer 43/53 models

gle 53 is an amg when the 580 isnt, 53 handles better, sounds better, etc. and has all the amg extras that the 580 doesnt
580 is luxurious power, 53 is sporty power. Can't get full leather seats in amg without going napa, can't get wood steering wheel in amg

This sounds better than the c43....c43 doesn’t have nearly as many pops as it used to, switch the exhausts cause this isn’t right
Too bad you have to get the optional performance exhaust for it to sound like that. It’s a shame that this isn’t standard.
Manufacturers are realising people will spec the exhaust to make it at least sound a bit like a pre OPF car but have to pay the extra money
I had a 2022 and it still sounded nice. I have the 2023 in order and I did upgrade the exhaust.
Mercedes should’ve used this engine in the next C63 instead of a plug in hybrid 4 cylinder

This car has been my disapointment from the beginning. Voice control stoped working well after few months and I had spend half a day in the service to reload it (common and recurring problem). After the guarantee service tire presure indicator does not work properly - back to service again. People in the mercedes only confirmed the problem. I quote: "it is a shit, it is too complicated, it is a fuck off" Some even did not recommand to buy this AMG and go for diesel instead. Since you are not a car enthusiast think twice to buy it. Not user friendly and a lot of frustration. Just for context. This is my 19th car and I have driven over 1,5 mio km in the last 25 years.
