I just ordered the Compact Vertical-- I will be using it as a few lines a day journal rather than a planner. This format feels perfect for that. Enough room to write a bit and add some photos and stickers.
I’d love EC to release a planner where everything is colourful except for the weekly and monthly pages. That would be my ideal. I also think that the vellum in the flower design should have flowers, not canvas design. Lovely video, thank you for sharing.
I have this layout and the video gave me ideas on how to plan. I like combining the weekends and using the extra box as a to do. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
I'm struggling with the compact verticle, too. I had high hopes and don't think it'll work long term as a functional daily planner. So, I'm going to use it for my daily devotions/scripture reading. I opted for the lined page add-ons, which I can use for sermon notes. I think it'll make for a great faith planner. For my main planner, I'm going to an hourly for the crispness and orderliness as you shared in so many words 😂.
That’s really pretty. I’m using the compact vertical for the first time and trying to make it work, I’m really a horizontal planner. It’s hard to get used to.
You could put the weekend sticker at the top and have a single space for Sat/Sun - no individual labels. Bottom half of the page however you like to use. I also don’t use the big event stickers in the CV. It’s too much. But the vertical and hourly I can’t stand😂 skinny columns and hourly is cluttered with lines everywhere and numbers before I even write in it. 😅
I love the Hourly cover you picked! So pretty! And I love the CV in the bigger size! It's so functional I think... I still have a DD from last year that I need to use up so no new ordering for me this year - I just didn't have the money... :(
I love it. ❤ I am currently in the compact verit. With a January start. It’s the blooms older one - I may do the colorful this Jan. This is my first year in this lay out and I love it.
I love the daily duo - and last minute I decided to order the original vertical. Got 18 months. In the first month of July, I’m wanting to order another daily duo! I was thinking of canvas, but don’t like gray tabs either! So many decisions!
The daily duo is a great planner! I love it so much. The original vertical is a great choice too! I miss the colorful tabs whenever i'm using a neutral planner!
@@HanCanPlan and @butterflies.and.tulips PlannerKate sells colorful tabs that you can put right over the EC gray tabs. They are in the EC color scheme. She also makes some in black and white. Let me get a link for you.
Going on year 3 in the CV. Favorite layout by far. I dislike hourly. 😂 I debated a bold blooms CV but staying colorful. 2 is my max: a Planner Perfect TN and the EC CV.
Thanks for sharing. I contemplated getting that one but I believe I have decided against it. Something about the way there's no real division between the days bugs me. I love that washi at the top ! It is so cute! Weighing everything out for the next few months before choosing for '25 for sure but I am really starting to lean towards going back to the EC petite folio.
I can see that. You would prefer lines in between the days? I just like my days being lined up...the vertical or hourly lets me see that at a glance. I am liking this one more now that i've been using it this week...
@@HanCanPlan yes. I thought about hourly too but decided against it. Might be too narrow for my larger, loopy writing style. With the TN, I can go with buying a smaller amount of books at a time and free up my budget for other fun planner supplies ....like more stickers. :)
