akaza's projectiles have 2 levels. tap triangle once for 3 projectiles, this allows you to combo into an attack. lvl 2 requires you to tap triangle twice for 5 projectiles(no extra meter required, but it ends blows the enemy back). boost/surge for demons works like spark in fighterz-regen just a bit of health. boost also blows away an enemy. use it when you have a red guard. surge doesn't blow the enemy back so be careful. demons also take more damage(i guess it's some form of balance, more damage and less defence)
To add on, if you happen to escape a combo its a good note if you need/want to to boost to get your evasive meter back, it does the same thing from boost to surge but you get that infinity meter

Akaza is one of my favorite demons honestly people always talk about Rengoku in that fight but barely Akaza and as much as I do like Rengoku Akaza made that fight way more entertaining and fun he seriously just came there and started throwing hands which I’m all about
How could a demon who’s power is throwing hands not be my favourite

Favorite demon is easily Akaza. Nezuko is the only other one I find likeable, but I don’t think we’re counting her lol
Love the title rhyme, Simple, short and to the point.
To be fair I think he's...alright? Fun as hell to play but lacks any damage unless you use a ton of resources. I think he's just okay. And he also takes the most damage in the game. Favorite demon is Akaza btw.
he also has one of the best kitsch in the game tho, I think hes pretty good tbf and I understand why they made him take the most damage
@@kaceynelson989 see, I'd be fine with the more damage taken if he actually did a ton of damage. Like a glass cannon character. But meter and assist buttons are especially important in this game, and you need to waste a decent amount to get that high damage with the demons. It's my only problem with him.
@@adamhussain1207 it would've been great if you could also have infinite assist bar on surge, like waste the first bar so you don't have Dodge if you used It but after that keep the first bar until surge runs out
@@adamhussain1207 I understand that, but I think he makes up for that with the shit ton of super armor he has I still think rui is a little better tho
@@kaceynelson989 doesn't he only have super armor on 1 move tho? Most characters in the game also do that.
So if you use disorder, you can cancel into air type, AS SOON AS the first shot goes off, mash super. The air type props them up just a little bit so you can connect. It’s a cool combo I saw online
You get a free dash from akaza’s heavy attack and i think your dropped you combo from air to ground cause you going for air type, id say either dash and then go for Air type or just neutral fall and go into light combo
If you want to Heavy into ult, you usually need to do only a special attack into Lv3 or a few attacks into a special move into Lv3. For an example, I main Sabito and me doing H (max charge), Dspecial, Lv3 does max dmg of 72% on chars w/ 1.0 dmg mod, and more if higher.

It appears that his ultimate art connects from the heavy when you have your opponent against the wall. I think the spacing causes it to hit more consistently, like corner combos in FighterZ, MK, Injustice, etc.

I don't have the game but it looks like you gotta be on the edge (or close to it) of maps for that specific combo I could be wrong
In my opinion they went all out for akaza but my favorite demon is rui because the way he was a cold demon that he control his entire family and the way he trick tanjiro on cutting his head off

I’m just gonna be honest. I had fun with this game when it first came out. It was a lot of fun to play. But now all I play against is Zenitsu, Rengoku, or Water Tanjiro with Nezuko assist every single match. I really want to play as the demons. I was so hyped for Akaza and after one day of playing I decided I’m done with this game until they nerf assists. Almost every person I play runs away and spams special moves and assists or they just use the Nezuko assist every time they do something stupid and I get punished for punishing them for being a masher or throwing out random moves. This game is a step backwards from Storm 4 imo. Assists just dominate the whole game and it’s so easy to just run away and air dash. I can tell you how many times I play Zenitsu and they all run away and spam TCaF until they kill you or the timer runs out. I dont know if anyone else feels the same but I just can’t play this game anymore. It’s way to rage inducing and I love fighting games so much but I just can’t with this one.
