Hi! Sorry about my previous response.I misread your question and thought you said Motif XF6. I have never owned or used a MOXF and therefore do not know if it would be the same as the XF and XS models. Again, sorry for the confusion.
hey, so i talked to yamaha. went thru tech support. i think its good for everyone to know that this is not a real vst. this just mimics your rack. the sound still comes out of the rack as a live instrument. im not sure if there are 3rd party software that fixes this but as of now yamaha says this is not a real vst. the software just mimics the automations of the rack.
The application itself is not a VST, it is an Editor for which you will need your Motif to work with. Using Cubase, you will be able to open it inside the DAW and use it like a VST instrument (except that it will be your Motif sounds playing inside of your DAW through this editor). Other DAW will be able to receive your Motif sound through this application, but, it will be opened outside of that DAW and picks up the sound from your Motif and route it to whatever track(s) in your DAW. Otherwise, you will not be able to download this editor and use it like as a VST.
Joshua Huck, Try the link below. It is from the Yamaha website. If the link doesn't work, go to the Yamaha website and go to support, then download. Follow the step by step instructions to select your keyboard and then download from the available options. Let me know if it works. Here is the link download.yamaha.com/search/detail/?category_id1=16244&product_id=1073317&asset_id=21019&language=en&site=usa.yamaha.com

quixotic7 What hardware are you using?
i'm using a sequentix cirklon. anyway, i found the answer on motifator.com All good.
Alright! I'm glad you were able to find the answer. The motifator website is a great source to find some of these information.
hi i want like to ask how make multisamplers on moxf.6 , i hope is the same thing thank you
Yes,
It should be the same.
Hi! Sorry about my previous response.I misread your question and thought you said Motif XF6. I have never owned or used a MOXF and therefore do not know if it would be the same as the XF and XS models.
Again, sorry for the confusion.
sakis sot,
I was able to get my hands on a MOXF. Everything should be the same.
Bonjour, possible d activer sous titre Svp
More please
Thanks. Will do for sure.
wait so i could have been using my rack as a vst this whole time?
Pretty much!
wtf ive had this for like 6 yrs. can u tell me how i do it? i dont know if i can find the cd that came along with my rack its been so long.
ThaDopist,
What software (DAW) are you using? The routing is based on the DAW. Let me know.
hey, so i talked to yamaha. went thru tech support. i think its good for everyone to know that this is not a real vst. this just mimics your rack. the sound still comes out of the rack as a live instrument. im not sure if there are 3rd party software that fixes this but as of now yamaha says this is not a real vst. the software just mimics the automations of the rack.
Great video, please talk a little bit lowder, i can barely hear you. Thanks for sharing
Is the editor compatible with HP computers?
Joshua Huck,
It should be. There is a Windows version.
Eddie Majour I'm having a hard time finding it. it would be from the Yamaha website right?
Joshua Huck,
Try the link below. It is from the Yamaha website. If the link doesn't work, go to the Yamaha website and go to support, then download. Follow the step by step instructions to select your keyboard and then download from the available options.
Let me know if it works.
Here is the link

Thanks a lot. Ill give these a try, I have to download the MIDI driver as well, which im assuming I found the right one. Ill let you know if it works.
So everything was successfully installed, but when I try to go "ONLINE" in that autosync window it gives me an error time out. Any ideas on what this could mean?
Is this the John Melas editor?
carnell butler,
No. The John Melas application is a Wave editor, unlike this one.
Port open error sigh
No, can't hear anything.
