luke 23:39-43, my favorite verses!! 39 One of the criminals hanging beside him scoffed, "So you're the Messiah, are you? Prove it by saving yourself -- and us, too, while you're at it!" 40 But the other criminal protested, "Don't you fear God even when you are dying? 41 We deserve to die for our evil deeds, but this man hasn't done anything wrong." 42 Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." 43 And Jesus replied, "I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise."
All Christian songs are awesome and this one is one of the most awesome I know! He will always remember us, sinners like we are! IT'S THE BEST LOVE WE CAN FIND IN OUR ALL ETERNITY LIFE IN CHRIST!!!!
I'm a baby in christ. and i thought that no song would pump me up like this one does, and i was actually surprised when i heard it and it made me feel so happy. and i just wanted to share this.
I want to unlearn all the filth the world and the devil taught me. I pray for God's restoration in my life. If you see this say a prayer for me please?
Look at Jesus posture on the cross: Arms wide-opened. "Do you want a hug from me? It's free and eternal because I love you and will never let you go!" Isn't it wonderful? :)
this song song show how much god loves us because he sent his son to die for us and i can testify to the strength he give you i lost my brother 5 years ago and it hurts every day i do not see him but i know i will see him again when it is time for me and i so much wanted to cause pain to him pain but i did not want to do it because every day i getting better day by day and i am also getting stronger every day
This is not a technically a Christmas song, but ever since the first time I heard it, it reminds me of Christmas. Every year at this time, this is what I'm thinking about 24/7. Not the actual song, but what the song conveys. He didn't have to do any of what He did for us, yet He left Heaven to do so....
I'm not the biggest fan of Christian music nor the most religious person. But my mom is and one day while she was driving me home from school years ago this song came up on the radio and every lyric hit the heart. this song isn't about pleasing Jesus for everything instead it's more about admitting you're guilts, I think that's how most Christians became Christians is through guilt or remorse. I just love how this Christian song is real and original unlike the bummshit you hear in church. This song touches the soul
I may be an atheist, but I still find this song insanely beautiful. Just the voice and the instruments. And the lyrics, don't necessarily have to be applied to the Christian man's god, it can be applied to any one person's belief.
@slowpoke284 it is about what Jesus did for us. He came and died on the cross to save us from our sins. This song is explaining that. And He remembered us on the cross. When they say "Your blood sets us free" its saying Him dyng for us saved us. And in the chorus when it says "Who am I that you would remember me?" theyre saying that how can He remember me? I am a sinner. But He DID remember us.
@kidface9 ain't sure where that came from........it's all about us not being worthy of His sacrifice. He still loves us, in spite of ourselves. Grace and Mercy..........
nakakaawa ang taong hindi kayang umangat ng sarili lang, how pathetic. bakit kailangan pang manilip di ba? kainis! slow down na nga ako eh pero hindi talaga kasalanan ko rin naman pero Diyos ko kapagod kaya sobra. hay naku! never ending talaga 'to...
@kidface9 This shows the exact opposite! We are evil, imperfect people. What does that say about God, that if all these things are true? (which they are) He stepped down from heaven where He is worshipped 24/7, became a man, conquered everything we couldn't, died an extremely painful death, and then rose on the third day. Just so we can be with Him, thats how much He loves us. That he left all His glory, that He could be with us, and in turn, He has all the glory still, and His beloved children.
One sentence. This man spoke one sentence to Him. The conversation they had, the time they spent together, cannot be measured even in minutes. "Will you remember me when you go to be in your kingdom?" Jesus, this miserable figure upon a cross beside him, who could hardly lift himself to breathe, said "Truly I tell you, this day you will be with Me in paradise." This criminal condemned to the most painful death society could give him, sent to die for crimes unforgivable, was one of if not the very first to see the gates of Heaven thrown open. To roam the halls of the kingdom of which King David wrote "better is one day in Your courts than thousands elsewhere." To touch the scars that bore his freedom, to hear the Cherubim singing, to see the throne that time began upon. To see with his own eyes the very face of God the Father, whom Moses could only observe from the waist down, and to hear the voice that called forth creation. This all because he asked one question "Would you remember me?"
You are probably sorry you ever commented on that Kutless youtube video. Sorry. Here's 1 more. When God looked at the world and all the evil that was there, & that the evil of horrible lives would be followed by the evil of hell forever. When God saw that every imagination of man was evil always causing pain to others, He could have destroyed us all. Instead He chose to send Jesus, who would suffer & live again, to suffer for a couple of days, that He might save the world. He did it for U. Peace
Luke 23: 40-43 "40But the other criminal protested, 'Don't you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? 41We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn't done anything wrong.' 42Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom' 43And Jesus replied, 'I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.' I am that criminal, I have been ashamed, I have been put donw. I have been sentenced to death for my crimes, but Jesus saved me, He Remembers Me. Who Am I?
@lordifan0609 Honey, being an atheist is illogical. There is no proof God doesn't exist. It is much more logical to be an agnostic (one who isn't sure if God is real or not). Yes, Kutless sngs insanely beautiful songs because God writes them with the band. You see the beauty in the world He made, but you cannot see Him. You only have to look around. "The heavens declare the glory of the Lord. There is no language in which their voice is not heard." Perfect balance till man stuffs it up.
Who am I? That you would remember me...
Thank you Lord for remembering a sinner like me

His blood sets Us all free. When life knocks you down to your knees. Start praying
Praise God! Cling unto Him man. When the burdens get heavier he gives strength and when our resources run out he gives us His. Trust in Jesus.
