I bought this from Ulta and I absolutely love it. It also helps my skin feel nice and hydrated afterwards as well.
You are meant to put it onto dry skin then massage it in which you did that's great.
Then you are meant to add water which increases the cleansing power and may remove more of the makeup , spf and dirt from your skin then the product will turn into a milk. Then rinse with a wash cloth or just rinse until the product becomes clean. Then you can use your second cleanse.

@@midanahgenerally it’s good for all skin types but normal to dry skin it’s good too as it’s a cleansing balm and it has oils in it to nourish dryer skins

I use Take the Day Off eye remover on my eyes, then hop in the shower and use the Rinse Off foaming cleanser (I've been using that product for 20+ years) on the rest of my face and it seems to do a good job. I got the Cleaning Balm at bonus time so I'm going to try that. Thanks for the tutorial!

wow this product seems amazing . considering how less product you use it would last forever and I would save on having to buy cotton pads all the time . so it definitely seems worth the price.

I just bought this today! Can’t wait to put it to the test. I used the Juice Beauty Oil Cleanser and it was OK I guess. I def think this will last me awhile.
Could I give you an advice? If you let me I would suggest you to not dry your face like that, instead just tap on the skin to absorb the water and whatever you need to remove. Its better than the way you do, like rubbing the skin, because if I'm not wrong it can make you have more wrinkles since you are like "folding and rubbing" your skin..
I love this product, but it isn't formulated for the eyes. The Take Off The Day Remover for Eyes Lashes and Lips is also a wonderful product!

You don’t need to use it dry. In fact, if you use it wet it turns into a nice cleanser consistency

I got this as a gift when buying Clinique's lipstick. I actually don't were any make up at all and only apply lipstick perhaps once or twice a day. I used this product just as a cleanser and wow! The dirt that came off was shocking hahaha. It's a good product...

I used this and my face turned burnt red and felt hot. :( I’m assuming I had a bad reaction. But my face looked flawless the next morning.

How on earth are you guys getting underneath your eyelashes clean though without getting it in your eyes? I literally had an oil film on my eyes for an hour when I tried to get under my eyelashes

Wow this looks amazing ..I have heard so much about this product and I wana get it but is It gentle ? Does it tingle or burn at all ? usually Clinique products are too strong for my skin and I usually use coconut oil to remove my makeup but this balm in the pot and, when applied resembles it ..I love, love, love this makeup look on you , please do a "get ready with me " ie tutorial on this look, its gorgeous especially the eye look on your blue eyes ...
Hey Love, thanks so much for your comment. And SUCH a great question. Nope it does not sting at all, it is seriously super super gentle on the skin and it also has no fragrance at all. It's almost like coconut oil, except better!
Before this I use to use coconut oil, but I don't know, this just has a slight edge up on it, and is so much easier to get out the tub and dissolve down.

Why is everyone raving about this product? Coconut oil works exactly the same way. Melts everything off.
Roxanne Moreno I noticed it clogged my pores! Dont recommend it. Be careful with the eyes as I got cysts on both due to clogged pores. I put hot water compress and pus came out from inside the lid. It was horrible. Be careful.
Yeah they both take off makeup but the difference is that you can emulsify and rinse off Clinique with water whereas you will need to use a warm damp towel to get coconut oil off of your face & also it is very comedogenic.
I have acne-prone skin. I tried coconut oil on my face and I broke out. It's great for my hair and dry patches though.

I been using this but I don't use that much. I use a little bit less than the first scoop you used to show us first before you took your makeup off. I am kind of shocked to see how much people are using.

I wonder why not just use your usually make up remover with a cotton rather than dirty your hands, then use it to rub your face then dirty a towel etc etc....is it not much less hustle and dirtying procedure to use (i think it was Loreal make up remover) or the like? I meant what is the benefit of using the balm vs the make up remover please?

You shouldn’t have used it all over your face in the first place. Always use a new product only on a small area of your face to see if you react or not...
I would use this without wiping, just massage it in, then add some water and massage a little more, then use my usual creamy gentle cleanser.

i think you have used toooo little balm, more balm can be cleaner
I tested this against coconut oil and they worked exactly the same. It just looks like solidified fat, perhaps with a little alcohol added. I think it's overpriced for a bit of fat and alcohol and would be happier if they used a glass jar instead of a thick chunk of plastic.

In my experience, it rinses/wipes off very clean and doesn't leave a residue, but you still need to follow up with an actual cleanser

Hey, thanks for the vid, is a cleansing oil necessary if you don't wear make up?
If you wear sunscreen (which you should) cleansing oil is also great to remove that. If you have nothing on your face though, there’s not really a need

It melts the makeup and sunscreen, I don’t think that this is good to use as a cleanser because it doesn’t clean the deep side of the skin.
If there are Bioeffect products from where you live, they have a Facial cleanser that could do both 👍🏼

No not at all Lovely. A lot of people mentioned why not just use coconut oil, but that leaves a thick residue on your skin, but the clinique one washes away completely! Hope this helps xxx 😊🙌

Jennifer, I just got it and it's amazing. I wipe my face off with miceller water after using it to remove the residue and makeup and it doesn't leave anything behind. I can't use coconut oil because my skin freaks out, but I haven't had any problems with this so far

Coconut oil is comedogenic.
Coconut oil clogs your pores, I used it for like 3 months because I thought it would the best since it’s natural. Nope I was so wrong.
Zuzana Peterková haha coconut oil doesn’t work for everyone, that’s why, I’ve been using it for 3 years and it’s never clogged my pores, but of course it just varies from person to person
