Yeah I would say this is more of an unofficial 3rd level like a trilogy in a way. It doesn't have the same message as requiem but it still has a pretty dark message that fits as a 3rd level after requiem if that makes any sense.

I honestly have never been amazed at a impossible level ever since Unnamed 666 this level is absolutely phenomenal like, defo epic rate worthy in my book, rly good job on neltharionns end :DDD
He is making a physically possible version, but i know Neltharion personally for a couple of years and he never was a really good creator in terms of gameplay, although he did get better recently, so who knows

i wish this level and vitrification and pretty much any impossible level was actually playable (or at least had the same feeling compared to the average rated level). they’re all so unique and cool and i love that about them

new favorite impossible level, i really like the art in it, like the EATOT stage 4 album cover at 2:23, as well as the other edgy things. sadly, it looks like it suffers from the same fate requiem has in the sense that it seems really unoptimized in terms of deco.
Watched it at normal speed and despite it being one of numerous flashes and it only being on screen for a quarter of a second, the image of the fat laughing Angry Birds king pig was burned into my mind.
If I'm correct, this is based off of both Requiem and the Godzilla NES Creepypasta. Lament is one of the "worlds" accessible by the possessed game. And somewhere in the middle of the level, Red's (The main antagonist) face shows for a brief second, and Zack's (The protag) girlfriend's face is also shown for a brief second
actually lament portrays a political idea iirc. the references to the godzilla creepypasta are just used as a metaphore of trauma mixing elements of occultism and philosophy
Requiem is such a good level that it just can't be properly remade or re-used as it was in this level. Requiem has such a long, detailed, and meaningful story, and is one of the most creative level ideas I have ever seen with exemplary decoration. This level does not do the original justice. It's isn't even a "remake" btw, it's basically just a level that pretty much plagiarized Requiem's style without its complex story.
As unpopular of an opinion as it is, I think this is executed really good, if not better than requiem the first time I watched it I thought it really didn’t work but looking into it more, it gives me actual chills, very well done.

on its own as a level it's amazing but i don't like it as much when thinking of this level with regards to Requiem. Requiem just has that full atmosphere included with the song that this level couldn't hope to match using this song. amazing level though. NeltharionN did a great job with what he had.
